For me, the hotel was a bang for your buck. For the price, it’s worth it as the check in/out was smooth even with self-service kiosk (do remember to prepare a RM50 cash deposit), the wifi in the room was fast and amenities were sufficient enough for a short stay.
Booked two different rooms. Mine was a single queen room on the lower floor (there are only two levels of rooms). Could hear plumbing noises from
above the room intermittently way after midnight. I suppose people were showering. Could hear noises made by inconsiderate guests past midnight from outside the room. Complimentary breakfast spread was good.
Would book the hotel again but would pay more for a room on the higher floor.
I had a pleasant stay at this boutique hotel. The cleanliness was excellent — the room, bathroom, and common areas were very well maintained and tidy, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. You can tell the hotel staff take pride in keeping the place in great condition.
As it is a boutique hotel, the facilities are relatively simple, although it self check-in machines, but their experience staff did assist and that feels warm and personal.
The only downside is that the sound insulation on the rooms door is not very good, so you may occasionally hear noise from outside or nearby rooms. It wasn’t a major issue for me, but it’s something to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise. My advice to the management is to add some acoustics seal on the door frame to improve it.
Overall, a clean, cozy, and well-kept boutique hotel, and a good option if you value cleanliness and a comfortable stay
EErikachan1206Affordable price with basic amenities, stay here for 6 nights and extended one more day because of work. Staff really helpful and friendly. Highly recommended to stay here!
MMaddog220The location of this small budget hotel is great for couples or small groups of 3-4 pax and it’s just next to the big seafood restaurants (King and New Seafood Restaurants) which is next to the jetty.
The room is rather big and clean the toilet is adequate and everything works, so no worries. But as a budget traveller,, please don’t expect bells and whistles for the price u are paying per night. .this place is suitable if u only want a good and clean environment to stay for 1-2 days. There are many eateries around this hotel too and they even have their own restaurant downstairs. Everywhere is easily within walking distance from hotel.
The best thing about this place is the reception staffs. They are all very friendly and warm ppl and willing to help if u need any tourist information about Kukup.
The only complaint is the limited parking in front of the hotel. They have only 1 parking lot for hotel guest & 1 parking lot for the restaurant guests. So if u are driving, u have to be lucky if no one is parking at the hotel lot and u can park there for free. If not u have to park elsewhere at the many free public carparks or or paid guarded carpark lots at RM10 per day.
I would definitely stay here again if not coming as a big group.
ผผู้เข้าพักReceptionist was welcoming and pleasant to talk with, room was decently well maintained (Didn't take pictures) and it felt okay to good for a night's stay. Nearby is Paradigm Mall where the picture was the DipnDip chocolate crepe that I bought, delicious 😋
