I booked this hotel for just one night, expecting a simple, comfortable stay. What I received was so much more than that. It was a flawless, beautiful, and truly memorable experience from start to finish. Everything was amazing, and I mean everything. Let me start with the arrival. The moment I entered the lobby, I was struck by how beautiful and serene it was. It smelled incredible, it looked immaculate, and the ambiance was calm, luxurious, and welcoming. The reception team welcomed me with such genuine warmth and professionalism. Check-in took less than two minutes, and I was made to feel instantly valued and at home. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay. My room was an absolute dream. I wish I could give you a tour of it. It was spotless beyond words - you could see the attention to detail in every corner. The design was modern, elegant, and tastefully done, with soft warm lighting that created such a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was pure heaven. The linens were crisp, fresh, and soft, the pillows were plush and perfect, and the mattress was the kind you sink into and never want to leave. I had the deepest, most peaceful sleep I have had in months. It was completely silent, dark, and tranquil. Absolute bliss. The amenities were outstanding. Everything was high quality, thoughtfully placed, and more than I expected. The bathroom was sparkling clean, luxurious, and felt like a private spa. Great water pressure, fluffy towels, lovely toiletries, and that perfect level of cleanliness that makes you feel truly comfortable. But what truly elevates a good hotel to a great hotel is the people, and here, the team is exceptional. Every single staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, respectful, and genuinely happy to help. They anticipate your needs before you even ask. They smile, they listen, they care. That level of hospitality cannot be taught, it comes from the heart. They made my short one-night stay feel incredibly personal and special. Breakfast the next morning, the departure, the overall organization, everything flowed so perfectly. I left feeling rested, recharged, and genuinely grateful. For anyone reading this and thinking of booking, please do. For one night, for a weekend, for a business trip or a getaway, you will not find a better place. This hotel understands what true hospitality means. It is luxury, comfort, cleanliness, and heart all in one place. A huge, heartfelt thank you to the entire team. Firstly the photo’s are misleading. The room was very disappointing. The bedding was clean but the bed was uncomfortable. The decor was tired to say the least. There were stains on the lampshade. The desk light was so dusty I could write my name in it. The bathroom needs up grading. It was very worn and it’s not great to be using a shower curtain in this day and age. To add to this we were presented with a Sunday menu but no roasts were available and no burgers. The staff were polite but looked as tired and drained as the environment. Returning to our springy protruding bed we were woken up by the fire alarm at 1:30am. We gathered in the car park but no one came to check on us, so we wondered back in. We were woken up again at 7:45am by the fire alarm again (appears they have to be super sensitive to keep every one safe!) so that saved some battery power on our mobiles. We were going to stay for breakfast but thought maybe not. The good points: I got a 50% refund. The shower was hot and did the job and the hair and body stuff  was surprisingly good. Overall it is such a shame. The hotel could be delightful, the coach house area could be quaint and the room was a good size. I personally would pop to the local charity shop and pick up some second hand lamps and get the stained ones into a skip. Lesson learnt I should have read the reviews and not trusted the photos. Overall disappointing and could not wait to leave.

Lovely view of the lake, much prefer not having a crappy breakfast included in the price, room was spotless, nice shower, decent desk/workspace. Two minor negatives: the TV was teeny tiny and the placement of it really affected the work space when set up with a laptop, mouse etc. Secondly there was a pretty unpleasant smell at the top of the stairs like stale fish. That's nitpicking though, it was an absolutely lovely stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

House keeping every day, swimming pool + gym + sauna free to use, nice staff, free spacious parking, extra pillows, spacious room, lift access. The only bad thing is the bath tub a bit small, and the shower curtain smells bad after use.

The location for me was perfect as I needed to be close to the hospital. It’s also close to bus stops into the centre and with a car you can reach destinations around the city fast. The room is as shown in photos and is very well equipped for a hotel of this category. The wine glasses and tumblers chilling in the fridge were welcome! I found the room to be very clean and well kept. There was good storage, plenty of sockets including a couple of USB ports which is handy.The views of the marina were very nice and added character. The people I met whilst staying were friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay and had two good nights rest. I’d certainly book there again.

Good value for money and we would use again. Food carefully prepared and served and of decent quality. Room 101 could do with a refresh in both bathroom and bedroom. Staff very pleasant and helpful

Stayed here for a convention. It's an absolutely fine place to stay. The room was a little old fashioned but very clean and cool - the shower was great. It's not anywhere central, but fine if you don't mind ordering in for dinner or getting food there (it will be a bit pricey). Staff was pleasant, seemed a little understaffed but nothing that ruined anything too much. Breakfast was great quality and covers all the essentials to choose from. The choice of rooms for the convention is great, so much space in all the areas! Never had a problem with neighbor noise. Overall, recommended. Nothing spectacular but still a good choice.

Stayed for Silverstone visit, actually, easy to uber/take bus from and to the bus station to the race track. Pretty good price and cozy. Definitely good for a family visit
