This hotel looked incredible! From top to bottom, it was clear that the designers took style seriously. The rooms gave off a sense of luxury that few other hotels in this process range have. The carpets, floors, doors, cabinets, beds etc. emitted a sense of tranquility, which made me feel very comfortable. Also, after travelling around China for nearly a month, I can say that this was by far the best breakfast I've had at roughly a dozen hotels. The staff were professional, everything was very clean, and the location could not have been better.
My only issues: there was no air conditioning, and my room was very hot at night. Additionally, when the rooms next to you are watching television, you can hear everything in your room.
Very pleasant hotel for a longer stay. Our studio suite was spacious, well equipped, had a stunning view (floor 42), and was very clean. Pool and gym were excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not all staff speaks english, but with the help of translation apps, communication was no problem. Breakfast was versatile with Chinese as well as international dishes, well prepared and for a very reasonable prize. Buffet and a la carte dining was enjoyable as well. Unfortunately, in the lounge wine was offered only by bottle not by glas. The hotel is situated in the University area, with a nice park close-by and a subway station in walking distance.
The room exceeded my expectation in terms of choice of furniture and size. The large king sized bed was very comfortable and the view spectacular. The bathtub added a nice touch to the room and I was able to relax in my room and making it feel like home. The hotel is also conveniently connected to the Metro and you can be on the train within 10 minutes. The staff were all very attentive and polite. I would definitely stay there again when in Lanzhou.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe were not impressed, especially for the price. We've stayed at hotels that are similarly priced and expected much better.
To be fair, the hotel itself is beautiful. The architecture, the room interiors, and the breakfast and drinks to get were all very nice.
However, the problems started at arrival. We were told the afternoon tea was cancelled and the restaurant was fully booked because of an event. No one told us this in advance, which was very disappointing.
The check-in was disorganized. The receptionist (who was also the manager) turned away to help someone else while I was still talking to her. She didn't give us our room keys, saying the bell boy would open the door. But when we got to the room, the bell boy had to walk all the way back to get the keys. The bell boys were actually very friendly and helpful—the only good part.
To make things stranger, the female manager called me a few hours after we checked out. She asked how the event affected our stay. I was busy and rushing around, and the call worried me—I thought I had left something behind. Asking for our opinion after we left was too late. They should have asked us during our stay, or better yet, informed us before we even arrived.
So, while the place is beautiful, the poor communication and service ruined the experience. We wouldn't stay here again for the price.

PPeterKThis location was very convenient for exploring Lanzhou with two subway stops within walking distance about ten or fifteen minutes and several snack streets and many restaurants as well as shopping in all directions. The room was very comfortable and felt modern and updated. The cleaning and breakfast staff were very friendly and kind. The breakfast area did not have a lot of seating but the food choices were good. Mostly Chinese dishes but there were some western options with a made to order noodles and someone frying eggs. I thought it was a good value and would recommend it for the location if you need something centrally located. About a ten or fifteen minutes ride to Lanzhou train station. You can take the subway but there are quite a few stairs and the sidewalks have a lot if ups and downs as well so not very easy to manage with heavy bags.
