"The location is so convenient that is about 5 min to the main attractions like the cathedral and the palace. The staff is friendly. U hv a large locker in a shared room that is not lying under ur bed(which is great). However, the shower doesn’t really hv a place to hang the clothes(except for the door) and the soundproofing might not be the best ;( u can hear the horse walking and the baby in the next room crying"
SSimonTreefieldThis hostel is in a great location, very central with innumerable bars, cafes, restaurants, tavernas, shops and major tourist attractions within easy walking distance. The facilities were clean and well stocked on arrival and remained so throughout my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with secure storage for my bag at no extra cost both before check in and after check out. The bed was basic but comfortable and provided two very good nights of sleep, with plenty of privacy thanks to the curtains, and more than enough storage in the locker and the under-bed drawer, both securable (bring your own padlock). The rooftop veranda and pool (unheated) were an unexpected surprise, as was the free sparkling water tap in the communal area. Only things to be aware of are to bring your own towel (like Douglas Adams said) and padlocks, and be careful what you put on the bedside shelf. I had to retrieve more than one item from down the side of the bed, the ease of which depends on how slender your arms are (mine aren’t 😖). Overall, a big thumbs up and thanks to the staff for a lovely stay

CClaire MThe location of Don Alfredo is unbeatable!!!
You basically fall out of the hotel and into the old town of Marbella. That said, the hotel is not one of the newest and it's a bit rocked down, but still well kept. The room was very basic but clean, as was the bathroom. We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in the room anyways, so for our purposes it was perfect for a quite affordable price! 😀
The staff was kind and helpful and in the morning they brought coffee according to our wishes to the dining room table or also to one of the tables right outside at the entrance of the hotel. Coffee was great, but breakfast was not very impressive, so we only had a little bite, but always took some fruit from the fruit bowl 🍎🍏🍊
Parking outside the hotel was a bit difficult, but not far there was the possibility to park for free, just needed to circle a bit sometimes and get lucky with a spot getting empty right in front of us ... Altogether, we enjoyed our stay a lot ... The old Castillo de Marbella was right in front of the hotel and there was a little resto named El Rincón de la Muralla that would seat you right beside the Castle wall - very romantic at night! 💕 After dinner there, we only had a few steps to take to get into bed and enjoy a good night's sleep ...
As for the pictures, only the first one is showing the hotel, the rest are pictures taken in the old town Marbella, super close to the hotel - and just to prove how great this location is! 😎

TTravel more exploreReally central location, we booked a private double room and it was quite spacious and the best was comfortable. The bath was too small and the bathroom is quite old, quiet room and we did a self-check in so didn't see anyone!
AAdrienneAEThe hotel owner was super nice - he got my friend an iron and hair dryer on her request and even drove us to El Puerto de Santa Maria when we were waiting for the bus in the rain. The beds were comfy and the rooms were cleaned daily.
That being said… the hotel is in a quiet, residential area and there are only a couple of grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance, toward the Valdelagrana beach. However, we were there in March, but I’m sure more is open during the summer months. It also gets quite cold in the rooms in March, so if you’re afraid of chilly room temperatures you might want to look for some place with central heating or space heaters on site. Also, transportation comes infrequently and shuts down early - like at 10, 11 pm - so allow some time and do some research when you’re ready to leave the area ot the hotel.
ผผู้เข้าพักIt's a good hotel newly renovated and in a great location. The window is very special (perhaps inherited from the building itself) which blocks the noise from the street really well. Though i really want to love the hotel but your neighbors matter a lot. You could literally hear every word, get to know the gossip they're talking about and enjoy the music with them whole night just by lying on your bed. Also, luggage deposit will change you 3 euro.
