Was all going gd until we arrived at the restaurant the receptionist booked us into for our evening meal. On arrival staff could not find the booking! We were told to wait over in the corner while they seated other guests !
The staff told us we had no booking so marched us out of the restaurant and up stairs to another area to eat it was v busy and service quite slow. Payment for the meal had to be made there & then as receptionist had not added my card to our room!!
We spoke to the receptionist that evening she apologised & said she’d speak to staff who checked us in. Nxt morning on check out no mention of lost booking so when they said was everything ok I said except for the non booking of table last night. Oh yes I saw that on your notes !!! Just an apology.
A wonderful one‑night stay at Killeen Castle. The setting is quiet and serene, the rooms modern and extremely comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. A perfect combination of peaceful surroundings and great food.
Headfort Arms is a perfect base for a short break or for exploring the local historic areas. Rooms are big and spacious, food is excellent, staff very friendly and all at a very reasonable price.
