Strasbourg at Christmas is a great place to visit, and Hotel Mercure Strasbourg Centre Petite France was a great place to stay. Clean, very comfortable rooms, with superb staff who made sure we were welcomed and cared for. Breakfast was absolutely excellent and really set us up for a day of exploring this beautiful city, and the hotel’s location just a short walk from the railway station and then a lovely amble through the lanes to the city centre and its gorgeous Christmas markets was perfect. I definitely would wish to stay here again 👍

This hotel is a reliable and highly convenient choice, positioned directly across from the main train station (Gare Centrale). Its greatest asset is its unbeatable location for travelers arriving or departing by rail and those wishing to explore the city's historic center, which is easily reachable on foot. Guests consistently report the rooms are clean, functional, and quiet, offering the standard comfort expected of the Ibis brand. It serves well as a practical and budget-friendly base for a short stay in Strasbourg.

The hotel was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. However, my experience at the reception was not great, as the staff’s attitude felt a bit unwelcoming. I also had to wait around 3 hours for check-in after arriving at 12 PM, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, a good stay, but the service at reception could be improved. Since I arrived at 12 PM, I feel the hotel could have been a bit more flexible with the check-in time. It would have been reasonable to provide the room by around 1:00 or 1:30 PM, or even 2 PM, instead of making me wait until exactly 3 PM. Check-in times don’t always have to be so rigid, especially when guests arrive early and rooms may be available.

A good location in between the old town and European Parliament, with both within walking distance. Not a lot of food in the area in the summer, as many places were closed for holidays or closed early/opened late. However, the hotel itself was clean and quiet with standard amenities. The area is also very safe.

The hotel is well located, with less than 10 minutes walking distance to Petite France, train station and Carrefour. Very comfortable and quiet at night provided us a very good sleep. We like the small kitchen with all necessary utensils are provided. We can purchase some grocery from nearby Carrefour and cook dinner for ourselves. Strasbourg is a very lovely and beautiful city.

no electric kettle or hair dryer. check in and front desk are only available from 5-8pm which may mean you have to schedule around it. luggage storage is not available after 8pm. no air conditioning in the room, and the outside noise is loud if you open the window (but the room provides a fan which i unfortunately did not see until the next morning). the location is a bit inconvenient, about 20mins from the city centre. at the very least, the service is warm and welcoming, but overall i would not book this place again.

호텔 들어가는 길이 공사중인 것만 빼면 좋았어요! 시내와 그리 멀지 않고 호텔에서 도보 4분거리에 버스정류장으로 바로 가는 버스도 있구요! 특히 방에 전자레인지와 드라이기 있는 게 진짜 진짜 좋았습니다!!!! 그리고 프런트데스크 직원들이 넘 친절했어요~ 마지막에 ”고객님”하고 한국말로 불러줘서 스트라스부르에 대해 좋은 기억을 갖게 되었습니다.
