The entrance to the facility can be easily found following the dirt road connecting long beach to coral bay. The road starts on the further side from the pier, shortly before Seahorse Divers. Coming from long beach, you just need to walk about 50 meters to get to the entrance. The facility itself is quite large and extends from the bottom to the top of the eastern side of the hill. Depending on your room you might have to walk uphill for a couple of hundred meters. Contrary to what I read in some reviews, at the moment there is no shop, no restaurant and there are no tours offered within the compound. Nevertheless this is not an issue due to the proximity to both beaches where you can find all needed restaurants and services. On the positive side I want to highlight the size and the cleanliness of the room. Very important is also the fact that the mosquito nets are in good shape and inside the room I didn't encounter any mosquitoes at all. The resort itself is kept in a good shape, the maintenance team works daily on minor building renovations and path cleaning. Locals also seem to appreciate the ironing station behind the reception, next to a large common area where it's possible to connect to the internet as WiFi doesn't work in the rooms more uphill. On the negative side the resort strictly enforces a 3 pm check-in policy, which is quite unfortunate as many guests come with the first boats in the morning. Moreover many rooms lack air conditioning. While this is clear at the moment of booking and the fans are doing a decent job, temperatures in the rooms stay high even during the night.

Reception was good. Since we arrived early around 12 noon, we asked for early check-in and very fortunate the room was ready and they allowed.

บริการดีมาก ห้องพักก็ดีมากเช่นกัน แต่ขาดไปอย่างเดียวคือน้ำประปา ไม่รู้จะอธิบายยังไงดี แต่กลิ่นคลอรีนแรงไปหน่อย โดยรวมแล้ว จะกลับมาพักอีกแน่นอนเพราะทำเลและการบริการ 🥰

จริงๆ แล้วรีวิวไม่ได้หรอก เพราะระบบมีปัญหาและเราถูกโอนไปโรงแรมอื่น แค่อยากบ่นเรื่องพนักงานต้อนรับของโรงแรมเดอะอินน์ ผู้หญิงชาวมาเลย์สูงอายุหน้าตาเหมือนคนจีนคนนั้นเอาแต่โทษฉันว่าชื่อฉันไม่อยู่ในระบบ ทั้งๆ ที่ฉันแสดงใบยืนยันการจองให้เธอดูแล้ว เธอรู้ว่าโรงแรมมี 3 สาขา แต่กลับโทษฉันแทนที่จะหาทางแก้ไข โชคดีที่เธอเข้าเวรกับพนักงานต้อนรับอีกคน เขาช่วยฉันเรื่องการจองอย่างใจดีโดยโทรไปที่สาขาอื่น และปรากฏว่าการจองของฉันอยู่ที่สาขาอื่น ขอชื่นชมพนักงานต้อนรับชายคนนั้นด้วย หวังว่าผู้หญิงคนนั้นจะเรียนรู้วิธีการจัดการกับลูกค้าและไม่โทษเราเหมือนเราโง่ ตอนนั้นเกือบเที่ยงคืนแล้วและพวกเราทุกคนก็เหนื่อยมาก นั่นไม่ใช่โอกาสให้คุณมาทำตัวแย่ๆ แบบนั้นหรอกนะ คุณป้า! ฉันเหนื่อยเกินกว่าจะถ่ายรูป แต่ห้องที่ได้ก็ดีนะ

โดยรวมแล้วเป็นการเข้าพักที่ดี พนักงานเป็นมิตร และทำเลที่ตั้งสะดวกสบาย โรงแรมสำรองที่จอดรถไว้ 3 คันสำหรับแขก แต่ขึ้นอยู่กับลำดับการมาก่อนได้ก่อน มีที่จอดรถ MBKT ทั่วไปริมถนน และที่จอดรถแบบเสียค่าบริการด้วย

The place was spacious and clean. We loved the beds and dining area. The location was fabulous. The only issue we had was there was no crockery or utensils to use in the kitchen area. So you could not eat or prepare food. Chopsticks, forks and knives would be useful

Secara keseluruhan, kami sekeluarga berpuashati dengan penginapan kami selama 3 malam di Melur Inn KT. Bilik untuk keluarga yang luas dan selesa, bilik air yang besar dan bersih dengan kemudahan seperti tuala, pemanas air dan sabun mandi. Kemudahan lain seperti jug kettle, coffee, gula dan creamer juga disediakan. Kedudukan hotel juga strategik iaitu berdekatan dengan masjid Tok Jembal, UniSZA, tempat makan menarik, pantai peranginan dan juga tempat membeli-belah. Kemudahan tempat letak kereta juga agak luas disediakan di belakang hotel. Cuma hotel ini tiada kemudahan lif dan bilik family berada di tingkat 2, mungkin tidak sesuai untuk golongan tua dan individu yang ada masalah kesihatan yang lain.

Stayed for 3 nights. Overall, this place has so much potential. The kampung ambience is so peaceful and inviting. The old Istana (palace) transformed into rooms gave the kampung lifestyle feels. Just walking distance to the beach and the scenery of the whole resort is tranquil. Nevertheless, suggest to clean and restore the pond around the resort. Re-do the whole landscaping around the resort and plant all the local flowers, fruit trees and herbal plants. And to install more solar lights. With this new facelift of the whole sorroundings, will surely invite repeating guests. Shoutout to the friendly staffs too. (P/S: suggests to invest on bed bug spray for each room too)
