Fab location from train station/shops/park/beach Apartment is roomy (booked 2 bedroom - 1 double bed and 2nd bedroom 1 single bed). The proprietor was extremely helpful as its keypad opening on rooms and push button key code to enter building. There is no lift but he took my case up to my room for me. Only little negative is there is no toaster and no dustpan and brush to clean up (especially if you have spent time at the beach and/or you have children/grandchildten) I would definitely recommend and will definitely stop here again.

The lady who owned the hotel made us uncomfortable by insisting on coming into the room with us upon arrival even after I said it’s not my first stay, and when it came to check out knocked on the door 45 mins before checkout to remind us what time checkout was and making sure we were checking out then. Really confusing service and felt like we weren’t being treated fairly; as it wasn’t like that last time I stayed and i don’t think I’ll come back, cheaper rooms with far less hassle are available.

ในห้องชั้นหนึ่งถัดจากถนนคนรอสัญญาณไฟจราจร แสงที่เข้ามาจากถนนค่อนข้างกดขี่ เปลี่ยนผ้าม่านจะสมบูรณ์แบบ ห้องพักคุ้มค่ามาก ห้องน้ําทันสมัยและสะอาด มีห้องเก็บน้ําด้านหน้าอ่างล้างจานทําให้มันสนุกที่จะโกนไม่มีปลั๊กสําหรับชาม ห้องครัวดีมากลองใช้ ยกเว้นผ้าม่านสะอาดมากและได้รับการดูแลเป็นอย่างดี แทนที่ด้วยม่านปิดโดยเร็วที่สุด

Although the room was clean and warm it was nothing like the ads. The room was small, the door had no spy hole and the bathroom door opened outwards. The bar had very unusual closing times, if it was quiet it would close at 10.00pm instead of the adverts 11.00pm, even for residents.

Everything is great at The Monsell Hotel. We enjoyed the peaceful & quiet stay. Maybe & hopefully the check out time can be amended to 12 noon if it is possible. Good luck & thank you. Regards, Harry
