Really lovely hotel in a nice part of Rio. Staff are really friendly and helpful, especially as I speak English and everyone else is speaking Portuguese. The room was lovely and clean and the cleaners came here everyday to freshen up the room, put fresh towels in the bathroom and change the sheets. The pool was lovely and very quiet which made the experience much better. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel very much but the one day that I did, there was a good variety of food. Can’t fault this hotel, very pleasant and would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Itajuba in Rio and had a generally positive experience. It's a solid choice for travelers looking for a well-located, large hotel with good value. Location: The hotel's location is one of its biggest strengths. It is very well-connected to Rio's main attractions: · Christ the Redeemer: Approximately 6km away. A taxi costs around 20 BRL and takes about 20 minutes (Christ the Redeemer ticket 128 BRL per person). · Sugarloaf Mountain: Approximately 7km away. A taxi costs around 20 BRL and takes about 20 minutes (Ticket for sugarloaf is 195 BRL per person). . From Airport (GIG): About 20km away. A taxi cost me 50-60 BRL and the journey took about an hour (depending on traffic). There are also plenty of shops and restaurants for food and essentials in the immediate vicinity. Room & Amenities: The hotel itself is a large, 15-floor building. The rooms are adequate, clean, and provide the basic necessities. However, a notable downside for some travelers will be the lack of tea and coffee making facilities (kettle) in the room. The breakfast is available and has a decent spread, but it has significant limitations for vegetarian. Service: A standout feature was the exceptional service from the reception staff, specifically Marcos. They were incredibly helpful, provided excellent guidance for sightseeing, and were very kind and soft-spoken. Their assistance greatly improved my stay. Important Note for Vegetarians: Warning for vegetarian travelers: Options are extremely limited. Both the hotel breakfast and the nearby food shops offer very few vegetarian choices. I highly recommend bringing or buying your own snacks and food to ensure you have suitable meals. Considering the cost of taxis to attractions and the overall convenience, the hotel offers good value. The helpful staff adds significant value to the experience. Hotel Itajuba is a good, practical base for exploring Rio's famous landmarks. Its great location and wonderfully helpful staff are major positives.

HORÁRIO DO CAFÉ DA MANHÂ FIZEMOS UMA SUGESTÃO, POIS HORÁRIO DE 08:00 HS FICA TARDE, FALAMOS QUE O IDEAL SERIA PELO MENOS O INÍCIO ÀS 07 HORAS. AS TOALHAS NA CHEGADA ( SÓ TINHA UMA , TIVE DE PEGAR OUTRA E NÃO TINHA DE ROSTO, DERAAM DE BANHO NO LUGAR ) REGULARES, PRINCIPALMETE NA TROCA , COLOCARAM UMAS TOALHAS BEM RUINS, NÃO TINHA TAPETINHO DE BANHEIRO , TINHAMOS QUE PISAR NO CHÃO COM OS PÉS MOLHADOS. UM ABRAÇO!

Nous avons passé 12 jours dans cet hôtel, le personnel est très froid et les chambres ne sont pas très bien nettoyées. Le petit déjeuner est copieux cependant toujours la même chose et quand vous restez 12 jours vous aimeriez un peu de changement

โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมือง อยู่ในย่านการค้าเป็นหลัก ซึ่งสะดวกต่อการเดินทางไปยังเมืองหลวง บริการที่เสนอ เช่น อาหารเช้า และเตียงนอนรายวัน ถูกต้อง แต่ยังคงต่ํากว่าระดับที่คาดไว้สําหรับโรงแรม 4-star ในทางตรงกันข้ามการบํารุงรักษาห้องพักโดยเฉพาะบริการด้านสุขอนามัยทําให้พึงพอใจ นอกจากนี้ถนนที่นําจาก Arc ไปยังโรงแรมค่อนข้างสกปรกและมีผู้ไร้บ้านจํานวนมากแวะเวียนมา ซึ่งส่งผลต่อภาพลักษณ์ของโรงแรมประเภทนี้ตั้งอยู่ในภาคเดียวกัน

Pros: + Location is a bit outside the city center of Party (~10 minute drive) - but that does not matter, because Ubers are available and the place is close to a very nice beach and harbor. + Rent of kayak for free to explore the area. + Manager was friendly and helped organising trips. + Hotel was clean and rather minimalistic in design, but good design and nice garden area. Cons: --- Too expensive for what you get. See below - food/breakfast, noise, all does not justify the price of the hotel. - The room does not have windows. It is just a big wooden door that opens to the balcony. Not really sea view. - It is very loud in the room. You hear guests having breakfast. You hear dogs at night. You hear the harbor and a very loud squeaking pier. - The breakfast is quite disappointing for the price of the hotel. - Generally the food there is not really self-made (e.g. pizza, lasagna), all made in an oven. Just too little selection for the price. If the hotel would be cheaper, it would be okay. - There is only a bar where you can mix your own cocktails. However, there is no bartender. Even if you mix your own cocktails, the price for a caiprinha is almost the same as in a bar.

ห้องพักของโรงแรมไม่ค่อยสะอาดเท่าไหร่ กระเบื้องบนผนังห้องน้ําสกปรก และที่นอนก็เป็น FRIGHT ใต้ผ้าปูที่นอนที่พับ ฉันนอนบนผ้านวมแล้วรู้สึกดี โรงแรมมักใช้โดย “ผู้สร้างเนื้อหา”  โรงแรมอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่ดีและสามารถเดินไปยังชายหาดทั้งสองด้านได้ มันถูกดังนั้นฉันจึงมีความสุขกับทุกสิ่ง

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff was welcoming and always helpful, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is convenient, close to restaurants and public transport. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay.

Check in was nice, we arrived earlier and they allowed us to leave our luggage which was very nice. The bedroom was spotless and the bathroom MASSIVE, plenty of space. The pool and service were very nice, sunny and spacious. That elevator was like getting into a 100 floors building because it was FAST. Breakfast was excellent, there were a lot of options and a good thing about this hotel is that it's just 30 seconds away from Cinelandia train station which will take you almost everywhere in Rio for just 1.30 USD. Now, the area although was carnival week and there were a lot of tourists, you do feel it kinda dangerous to walkby. The lobby staff WILL let you know to hide your cellphone and keep attention at your surroundings. Returning from the carnival we were almost rob just feet away from the hotel but nothing serious, this because during this week ALMOST everything in Rio is closed including some stations between 8pm and 6am. So, keep your eyes open. Uber gets really easy to the location and is very cheap actually. To be honest, the hotel was great, an amazing way to start our vacations through Brazil.
