Large room (Superior King) which was clean unless you go looking under the fridge or bed. A very comfortable mattress and excellent bedding was provided. The shower was warm to hot and powerful. There was no view from the window which didn't bother us for the price.
The tv had poor reception but we watched Netflix on our laptop using the hotel wifi.

I booked this for the location and the free breakfast. The hotel was very nice and clean. We did have to wait to check in for about 15 minutes because they were very busy. The room was nice. They upgraded our room for free. I was disappointed to find only one towel, no hand towel, and no washcloth. According to my friend who also stayed there, you can call and they will bring another towel. Now for the best part...the breakfast was buffet style, with cooked-to-order omelets, and a large variety of entrees. It was awesome! I love the service! Hospitality is amazing I feel it's the one of the best in SEA for a 4 star hotel. Compliments to the staffs that check my room upon check out and found my glasses I forgot to pack. They returned it almost immediately upon check out.
Compliments to the guards outside as well, they escorted us especially at night to the other side to get to the mall due to crazy traffic haha !

Первый номер был прокуренный, второй с громким старым кондиционером, на третий согласились, т.к очень устали от ночного перелета, хотя и от него были не в восторге. За раннее заселение в 8 утра запросили доплату 500 песо. Местоположение отеля хорошее, все рядом. Завтраки филиппинские, однообразные, по меню, но всегда в блюде есть рис и яйцо, меняется только третий ингредиент. Кофе входит в завтрак.Фруктов нет. Овощей тоже нет. Из плюсов: в номере есть чайник, холодильник и микроволновка. Шокировало наличие щели (около 20 см)между соседними номерами. Обнаружилось это после заселения соседнего номера, когда было слышно телевизор, ребенка и др. как у себя в номере. Все было прикрыто портьерой и изначально не видно. А так, в общем то, хороший отель. I am very satisfied with our stay in this hotel. My mother and I stayed for the New Year's Eve. So there are a lot of fireworks. But the fireworks didn't bother us at all. I think it's because of the window glass that they installed which made the room somehow soundproof.
I am also very happy with the hotel's location. It is very near Robinsons Manila.
Check in process was very smooth. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely place in middle of Intramuros, and the staff is just amazing! They go beyond for their services. Their food is also very nice.
Yet, the area is not suitable to walk around at night, and far away from anything else that is interesting, besides Intramuros (which you have covered within the day).
Also, with the limited facilities and bit of old building feelings, it is overpriced compared to cheaper, more modern hotels in (esp) Makati, where you can also move freely around.

I will not stay in JMM again. The room interior is old, many paints are old and dirted. And many furnitures are scratched and not managed well. The microwave oven was malfunctioning. And there was a storm and some water dropped from the windows.
The worst thing was I lost the security card(for the main gate at the ground floor) and door lock key. They charged 2000p for those. 1000p for each. The funny thing is the security key costs 300p by the condo but they asked me to pay 1000p for it also. I protested the front and the answer was it is the hotel's policy and she discussed it with her manager also and she is just an employee.
I traveled so many hotels in the world. If I lost a key card, usually they just reissue it. Even if it is a budget hotel, 1000p for a key card is absurd.
