From the moment I landed, I knew this stay would be special. I was collected from the airport in a luxury Jaguar , (completely free) and transported again at departure, including complimentary trips to and from the city centre. Actual VIP treatment from start to finish .... something I have never experienced anywhere else. Because my flights didn’t match standard hotel times, the team kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost, which took away all travel stress and made my stay even more comfortable. That flexibility meant everything to me. Every single staff member was amazingly warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Although I sadly didn’t manage to catch the names of the wonderful ladies at reception, they were absolutely incredible and deserve huge praise. Special mention to Tomas — such a professional, friendly, standout member of the team. I later found out his birthday was on Thursday 4th, and I wish I had the chance to say Happy Birthday before I left! The location is perfect — close to shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore Porto while still enjoying a calm, comfortable stay. The room was immaculate — spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully prepared. And the amenities were next-level: Mini-bar, tea and coffee station with kettle, plush slippers, bathrobe, bottled water......everything thoughtfully provided. I was welcomed with a welcome drink on arrival, and a fresh fruit tray waiting in my room. Nothing felt standard, everything felt intentional. What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail. There is a clear sense of care, love, and purpose in every interaction and every small touch. You’re not treated like just another guest , you are genuinely looked after. I honestly cannot fault a single thing about this stay. Hotel Jaguar Porto combines luxury service with real warmth and heart, a rare find. If you’re heading to Porto and looking for an experience that goes far beyond accommodation, this is THE hotel to book. 100% recommended. I will absolutely be back. ✨👏

ที่ตั้งดีมาก อยู่ติดกับสถานีรถไฟ ใกล้ทุกสิ่งทุกอย่าง ฉันไม่จำเป็นต้องนั่งแท็กซี่สองวันในปอร์โต แต่ที่นี่ค่อนข้างเสียงดัง คนที่นอนไม่หลับไม่แนะนำให้จองที่นี่ เครื่องปรับอากาศแย่มาก และลมร้อนแทบไม่มีผลเลย คุณต้องสวมเสื้อกันหนาวเพื่อเข้านอนตอนกลางคืน! อย่าสั่งอาหารเช้าที่นี่! ที่นี่เป็นกล่องอาหารกลางวัน ไม่ใช่บุฟเฟ่ต์ และไม่อร่อยเลย

We were given a nice, clean room on an upper floor with a pretty view. The bathroom was on the right through a sliding door when you entered the room. It was spacious with a shower and a bathtub. Good breakfast! The roasted tomatoes were superb and it should be a dish available every morning at the buffet.

โรงแรมมีทั้งข้อดีและข้อเสีย ทำเลที่ตั้งไม่เหมาะกับการท่องเที่ยวเท่าไหร่ เดินเพียง 10 นาทีก็ถึงสถานีรถไฟใต้ดินที่ใกล้ที่สุด แล้วก็ต้องลงสถานีไม่กี่สถานีก็ถึงสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวหลักๆ ซึ่งอาจจะไม่สะดวกโดยเฉพาะในช่วงฝนตก ข้อดีคืออยู่ติดกับตลาด/ศูนย์อาหารที่คึกคัก มีของกินท้องถิ่นเยอะแยะ แถมยังมีซูเปอร์มาร์เก็ตอยู่ข้างๆ ด้วย พนักงานใจดีมาก พูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ดี แถมยังมีจานต้อนรับพร้อมผลไม้และทาร์ตไข่ให้ด้วย ซึ่งถือเป็นความประทับใจที่ดี ห้องพักดีกว่าในรูปเยอะเลย กว้างขวาง สะอาดมาก มีตู้เซฟ ตู้เสื้อผ้า และห้องน้ำกับห้องส้วมแยกกัน อาหารเช้ามีให้เลือกหลากหลาย ถึงแม้จะเหมือนกันทุกวันก็ตาม ข้อเสียเล็กน้อยคือ พนักงานทำความสะอาดเข้ามาในห้องสองครั้งตอนที่ฉันอยู่ในห้อง (ครั้งแรกตอนเช้าตรู่ตอนที่ฉันหลับ และอีกครั้งตอนฉันอยู่ในห้องน้ำ) อาจจะมีเสียงเคาะประตูบ้าง แต่ก็ยังรู้สึกว่ารบกวนอยู่ดี การจัดวางหน้าต่างก็ลำบากเช่นกัน ห้องพักของฉันหันหน้าไปทางล็อบบี้ จึงต้องปิดม่านตลอดการเข้าพักเพื่อความเป็นส่วนตัว ทำให้ห้องมืด โดยรวมแล้วเป็นโรงแรมที่สะดวกสบาย พนักงานก็ยอดเยี่ยม แต่ทำเลที่ตั้งไม่เหมาะนักหากคุณต้องการอยู่ใกล้สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวหลักๆ หากราคาดีเมื่อเทียบกับโรงแรมที่อยู่ใจกลางเมือง ก็อาจเป็นตัวเลือกที่ดี เพราะค่าแท็กซี่ไปใจกลางเมืองอยู่ที่ประมาณ 5 ยูโรต่อเที่ยว ไม่เช่นนั้น ครั้งหน้าฉันคงเลือกที่พักที่อยู่ใจกลางเมืองมากกว่า

One of the best and the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The interior is very beautiful, the entire story wall was impressive, and the furniture is beautiful, there’s a kitchen with plenty much everything if you want to cook and a comfortable bed. Altogether the design of the hotel and the concept are really cool. I read the book about the Alameda street they put in the room and was very impressed with the research and effort that was put into the hotel. Location is the best, close to pretty much everything, and Aliados metro station. I totally recommend Libere Porto Laranjais and would be happy to stay there again, but maybe in summer next time:) December is a bit cold, I needed to put in the air conditioner all the time:)

Review: A Fantastic Stay at Caleway Hotel Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently spent one night in a Suite at the Caleway Hotel, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the quality of the accommodations was top-notch. Highlights of the Stay • The Room: The Suite was exceptional—spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Everything was in pristine condition. • The Service: The staff here are incredible. One gentleman in particular was extremely friendly and went out of his way to be helpful throughout my stay. • Breakfast: The breakfast was high quality with a great selection of fresh items. It was the perfect way to start the morning. Exceptional Problem Solving The only minor challenge I encountered was with parking. However, the service team handled it brilliantly. The staff member on duty did his absolute best to resolve the situation quickly and efficiently. I really appreciated the extra effort and the genuine care he showed in making sure I was taken care of. Overall Verdict: Despite the small parking hiccup, the outstanding service and beautiful rooms make this a top choice in Gaia. I highly recommend the Caleway Hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Our family reserved 3 rooms and arrived on a very early flight . Jose was kind enough to get 1 of our rooms ready within an hour so we could at least wash up, rest for a bit, and refresh before going out for the day. He continued to take care of us throughout our stay with anything we needed, while being extremely kind and personal. He is an excellent representative of the quality and care the hotel offers. We also liked the ambiance of the hotel. It was nicely lit and decorated in a fun, eclectic, and relaxing fashion. Our room rate included the breakfast which was an amazing spread with much variety, highly recommend. Location was central, easy walking distance everywhere. Small disappoin**ent was lack of gym. I know we walk around alot but it would’ve nice to have the option as my husband and son like to exercise quite a bit. In addition, the TV lounge room which can be nice for teenagers/kids to use while waiting for our rooms to be ready was rather plain in terms of interior design, just gray concrete walls, as opposed to the interesting and colorful designs of the rest of the hotel. This is just an observation, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again.

We booked a junior suite and asked to be put on a high floor. However, we got assigned the ground floor room facing the inner courtyard, making the room quite dark. And the lighting inside the room did not help either since most of the lights were directed light. We have asked for a change of room but was told its not available. The room is on the ground floor close to the lobby and the restaurant. When we asked to change the room, I have expressed my concern that it would be noisy and the front desk agent assured me that it would not be the case. Then on New Year's Eve, they have a party in the restaurant with very loud music. And the sound obviously leaked into our room, and the party lasted till the small hours. The selection of food items at breakfast is quite limited. Its really quite mediocre compared with other hotels in this category. The only saving grace for this hotel is its location.

I stayed at this hotel for one night as a quick stopover, and it was perfect for my needs. The hotel is situated right across from the beautiful Crystal Palace Garden and is easily walkable to numerous great local spots. I was also impressed by the staff's thoughtfulness. They proactively sent me a list of recommended local eateries and quickly responded to my questions before I arrived. My room was comfortable and well-equipped. I appreciated having an adjustable air conditioner and a nice, hot shower. They also provided free snacks, a coffee machine, and thoughtful additions like books and board games in the common area. It is important to know that this is a renovated building that preserves its original features. While this adds to its charm, it means there is no elevator. I was lucky to book a ground-floor room, which I strongly recommend if mobility is an issue or if you have heavy luggage. As is common with older architecture, the sound insulation isn't the best. I didn't find it overly bothersome in my room, but sensitive sleepers should be aware. In my opinion the hotel offers excellent value for money and a genuine experience.
