My fault that I booked this room in a hotel without air con. Still I was lucky it was not too hot outside. The hotel provided a fan which when put near the window cooled the room down nicely. Unfortunately though you can not close the curtains if the fan is in the window. This was not a problem for me though because I normally wear a mask and the earplugs when I travel.
 All in all it was very good stay the bed was comfortable and clean. I didn’t hear any trains during the night and the Location is very good to be very close to the station. I would stay there again.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Room temperature just right. Shower, good water pressure and temperature.
It’s not the most upto date hotel.
But is cosy and comfortable.
Breakfast, cooked to order. Hot and tasty.
The tea and the hot chocolate in the room is good.
The tea at breakfast is poor. When I book again I will take my tea from the room to breakfast.

Hot strong shower, the room is clean except the carpet which is a bit filthy. Very good and speedy check in, but it's manned only in the am and evening. We returned at 11pm one night while the car park was all full. We had a bit of a headache

Overall the hotel was pretty decent. Good location and great views fron the room. But you know the building is a but old one some dont expect 5star model. You want some thing vintage and good you are in the right place. I loved it . And the staff was so lovely and friendly. I will suggest this one.

位置好，但是沒有升降機的，運送行李不方便，我住在4樓的九號房，所以沒搬運太多行李上去，還有我是自駕的，需要搵附近地方泊車。我book的是基礎房。沖涼要去樓下的。不推介在這裏租房如果揸車。

The Travelodge Canterbury Chaucer Central provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Travelodge Canterbury Chaucer Central offers a pleasant stay in Canterbury for those traveling for business or leisure. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Canterbury East located approximately 900m away and London Southend Airport roughly 43km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the St Augustine's Abbey, Franciscan Gardens and Canterbury City Wall all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.

DDebbieThis feels like good quality accommodation, despite being an Attic room the ceiling is quite high . However the room layout is naturally restricted so one twin bed is snuggled against the wall with restricted headroom. The payoff is a good sized ensuite with natural light .
The upside in the summer is the aircon, the downside in the winter is the radiator adjacent to the twin bed. This is a small twin room next to a pub with lots of history,
