Location: Close to the train station
Cleanliness: All clean.
Service: Very friendly, I asked about nearby food and they gave me recommendations (explaining which options are both good and bad).
Facilities: Water, drinks and snacks were very helpful. Bikes to borrow on a first-come-first-served basis. There were 4 available during my stay. Luggage storage was free and useful. I ended up storing 3 items both before check-in and after check-out.
Overall was surpsised by big size of room, shower was quite large.
Tbh it is cheap and has free coffee, laundry is 40 TWD and the staff is nice. There is also a well equipped kitchen.
But it is not a „social hostel“. So, at most times guests are more focused on themselves and not interacting with each other.
There is also a long time guest (seem to have her own room). IMHO she tended to allways mumble something in the common area in allways the same vollume, doesn’t matter, who is around. But this is the typical „Chinese“ / „Taiwan“ way of communication. Loud doesn’t matter what.
When I was there, people were snorring heavily.
