Stayed one night with my daughter for my birthday. The hotel is very central and the reception staff were welcoming. Our room was large and modern, but extremely dark, if you plan on doing makeup, it might be worth bringing a lighted mirror.
I had requested a quiet room and was placed at the back, but unfortunately there was a constant noise that sounded like a generator, as well as the sound of glass bottles being emptied somewhere. Some guests also returned around 4 a.m., so I was lucky if I got an hour of sleep.
That said, I would still stay again.
Great location for shopping restaurants and local amenities and near to travel networks great bar and restaurant on site too friendly staff and good facilities my wife likes to walk down lord street and shop plus a large selection of small coffee shops to have a rest
This hotel was excellent! Ideally situated for the M and S Arena, the Albert Dock and Liverpool 1 shopping area. It is literally 15 mins walk from Lime Street Station. Check in was done online and key was ready to collect via a machine in the foyer. I'm not 100% keen on this as I do like the personal contact with the reception. Had to go there to ask for breakfast details so in future would probably just check in there anyhow, but the option is there if you prefer that. The room on the 4th floor was really nice, clean and comfortable. Slight grumbles were regarding the bed being a bid hard and the small shelf, rather than a table in front of the mirror. Breakfasts were excellent, a very wide range of good quality choices. The lounge and dining areas were very clean, modern and well designed. All staff were very pleasant. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool. It was excellent value in comparison to others we have visited in the city in the past. Will definitely be back! I have stayed many times It was good until 02:30 am when a burglar tried to smash the front door down. I was in room 5 right above. It was so noisy and at least 6 police arrived to take the lunatic away in Van.
It went on for an hour I could not sleep and vacated my room NR 5 @ 04:30 am very unhappy.
Plus I was asked to pay £5 to park, first time EVER !
The young night porter was amazing and showed me out through the kitchen to my car.
My holiday ruined how bad Southport is these days 😱

I have just one point , the security in front of the door for hotel activities should respect the hotel guests , I don’t wear ring for the activity but i am in hotel . He should ask me nicely without pushing me because i didn’t wear ring .
Excellent hotel. Had a very pleasant stay here. Breakfast was amazing and staff really helpful and friendly. I was surprised to see a drink fridge in my room and it’s totally free!!! Would recommend for solo travellers 24 hrs reception. Really comfortable place to stay would come again.

Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience.
The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep!
I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city.
What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking.
The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place.

ผผู้เข้าพักWe had a lovely stay. The standard hotel room was very spacious, bed very comfortable, room very clean and really nice decor. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit, homemade baked bread and a good selection of hot and cold options. The White Bar was a great place for food and drinks.
Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe Crowne Plaza Liverpool Airport was clean throughout, very comfortable bedrooms (We had a double bed in one room 003 and 2 doubles in another 049). Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food: We had food in the restaurant area on the first night. 2 of us opted for the tuna and one for the ribeye steak. The steak was beautiful. The tuna had to go back for extra cooking as they were both still swimming. Apparently there was an ‘agency chef’ in the kitchen. Tuna was very tasty when we got it back.
We would all definitely stay again the next time we visit Liverpool.
ผผู้เข้าพักWhen we arrived, we noticed we had been given a far inferior room than we've ever had before. The view was terrible. There was no fridge which we have always had before and the room looked 'tired'...in need of TLC.
I went to reception to tell them I was not happy. Anyway they did sort it. Gave us another room with a better view and the young girl on reception brought us an old, but working mini fridge.. so it worked out OK in the end ( I need a fridge to put some of my medication in.) Another lady on the desk was very curt when I said there was no fridge and stated....not all rooms automatically have a fridge in them. Sorry but I thought they did.
Whoever makes loose leaf tea in the restaurant needs to learn it is 1 tsp of tea per person and 1 for the pot. In this case 3tsp of tea and not half a teapot full. I kid you not. See pic below. We got a refund for some of the tea, but nit for the cream tea my friend had. My friend had ordered a cream tea and me, just a tea. Yet they brought a pot of tea for 2, which is the wrong etiquette for an order like this. Hence we only got 2 cups out of it, because of the amount of loose tea in there.
I think I have been spoiled by the superior standard of the rooms, when we have stayed before....I just presumed all their rooms would be like this
