นี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่เราได้เข้าพักที่โรงแรมนี้ ตอนแรกจองไว้หนึ่งคืน ตอนเช็คอิน คุณหวงที่แผนกต้อนรับยิ้มแย้มและมอบของที่ระลึกจากร้านขนมอาจี้ไจ๋ให้เรา แถมยังอัปเกรดห้องพักแบบ Business Room เป็นห้อง Supreme Room ให้ด้วย รู้สึกประทับใจมาก หลังจากทานอาหารเย็นก็ออกไปเดินเล่นรอบๆ โรงแรม มีห้างสรรพสินค้าใหญ่ๆ อย่าง Zhonghua City, สถานีรถไฟฟ้าสาย 1 ต้นทาง และป้ายรถเมล์หลายจุดอยู่รอบๆ โรงแรม เดินไปทางเหนือประมาณ 100 เมตรก็มีร้านอาหารและของกินเล่นมากมาย ถัดไปทางเหนือก็เป็นถนนคนเดิน Zhongshan Road พอเรากลับมาที่โรงแรม เราก็ตัดสินใจจองที่พักที่นี่ต่ออีก 4 คืนเลย คุณป้าแม่บ้านก็ยิ้มแย้มทักทายทุกครั้งและบอกว่าถ้าต้องการอะไรให้เรียกได้เลยค่ะ ตอนอยู่บนลิฟต์ เราเจอผู้บริหารโรงแรมโดยบังเอิญ พอรู้ว่าเรามาจากเซี่ยงไฮ้ เธอก็ชวนคุยอย่างเป็นกันเอง เพราะลูกสาวของเธอกำลังเรียนมหาวิทยาลัยอยู่ที่เซี่ยงไฮ้เลยค่ะ ทำเลดี คนเป็นกันเอง บรรยากาศอบอุ่นเหมือนอยู่บ้านเลยค่ะ

ก่อนอื่นเลย ผมต้องขอชมบรรยากาศของโรงแรมก่อนเลย ล็อบบี้ตั้งอยู่ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำหมินเจียง ตั้งอยู่บนชั้นสูง ทำให้รู้สึกราวกับเป็นห้องนั่งเล่นที่โอ่อ่าราวกับอยู่บนฟ้าเมื่อก้าวเข้ามา ผมชอบล็อบบี้เลานจ์เป็นพิเศษ หน้าต่างบานใหญ่สูงจากพื้นจรดเพดานเปิดโล่งให้มองเห็นวิวแม่น้ำและเมืองอันตระการตา นับเป็นประสบการณ์อันแสนวิเศษ ไม่ว่าจะมองเรือแล่นผ่านไปมาในตอนกลางวันหรือชื่นชมแสงไฟเมืองยามค่ำคืน ห้องพักก็ใส่ใจในรายละเอียดอย่างพิถีพิถัน เตียงนอนนุ่มสบาย ห้องน้ำกว้างขวาง และการแช่ตัวในอ่างอาบน้ำพลางดื่มด่ำกับวิวกลางคืนช่วยคลายความเหนื่อยล้าจากการเดินทางได้ทันที มาตรฐานการบริการของฮิลตันก็โดดเด่นไม่แพ้กัน ตั้งแต่รอยยิ้มอบอุ่นของพนักงานต้อนรับและการช่วยเหลืออย่างกระตือรือร้นในการขนสัมภาระเมื่อเดินทางมาถึง ไปจนถึงขั้นตอนการเช็คอินที่มีประสิทธิภาพ เป็นมืออาชีพ และเป็นกันเองที่แผนกต้อนรับ ทุกขั้นตอนทำให้ผมรู้สึกได้รับการเคารพและมีคุณค่า ผมต้องขอชมพนักงานคนหนึ่งเป็นพิเศษ นั่นคือเคลลี่ ตอนเช็คเอาท์ ผมลืมยาไปหนึ่งเม็ด มันสำคัญมาก เธอรีบไปที่ห้องของผมเพื่อหายาและส่งรูปมาให้ผม แล้วเธอก็นึกขึ้นได้ว่าฉันลืมของอย่างอื่นไว้ จึงเก็บเข้าที่เรียบร้อยให้ฉันไปเอาคืน ความปรารถนาอย่างแท้จริงที่จะได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์ที่สมบูรณ์แบบของแขกผู้มาเยือนนั้นช่างอบอุ่นหัวใจเหลือเกิน! อาหารเช้าของโรงแรมนี่แหละคือเหตุผลที่ฉันยอมตื่นแต่เช้าเพื่อมาทาน ที่นี่มีอาหารพื้นเมืองฝูโจวแท้ๆ ให้เลือกมากมาย เช่น เกี๊ยวเนื้อและลูกชิ้นปลา ทำให้ฉันซึ่งเป็นนักท่องเที่ยวจากต่างเมือง ได้สัมผัสวัฒนธรรมอาหารเช้าแบบฝูโจวแท้ๆ ทั้งหมดในที่เดียวโดยไม่ต้องเดินทางไปไหนไกล รสชาติก็ต้นตำรับจริงๆ! ฉันขอแนะนำให้ลองห้องรับรองพิเศษและร้านอาหารจีนของที่นี่เป็นอย่างยิ่ง ได้ยินมาว่าที่นี่ก็อร่อยเหมือนกัน แต่ครั้งนี้ฉันไม่มีเวลาลอง ไว้คราวหน้าจะลองบ้าง!

Grand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms. Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that. In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear. The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch. The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee. Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby. Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff.

โรงแรม Xiamen C&D Kunshi Hotel เป็นตัวเลือกอันดับหนึ่งสำหรับบริเวณใกล้สนามบินจริงๆ! ทำเลดีเยี่ยม อยู่ใกล้สนามบิน Gaoqi มากๆ และที่ล็อบบี้ก็มีข้อมูลเที่ยวบินอัปเดตแบบเรียลไทม์ ทำให้สบายใจหายห่วง รถตู้รับส่งสนามบินสีม่วงของโรงแรมก็เท่สุดๆ บริการตรงเวลาและเอาใจใส่มาก ตั้งแต่พนักงานต้อนรับไปจนถึงพนักงานทำความสะอาดห้องพัก ทุกคนกระตือรือร้นและดูแลเป็นอย่างดี ทำให้รู้สึกเหมือนอยู่บ้าน ห้องพักสะอาดเรียบร้อย ผ้าปูที่นอนนุ่มสบาย ประสบการณ์โดยรวมให้คะแนนเต็ม ขอแนะนำอย่างยิ่งสำหรับเพื่อนๆ ที่ต้องรีบไปสนามบิน!

My stay at Lohkah Isle was magical. From the moment I booked, the team made me feel genuinely cared for. No detail was too big, no gesture was too small. Every request was attended to with such warmth, kindness, and incredible promptness. A special thank you to Isak, Leo, Yuki, and Harlan. You are the heart and soul of this beautiful hotel. Isak welcomed us personally at the pier when we arrived at Gulangyu, and to my surprise, he was also the one who escorted us all the way back to Xiamen at the end of our stay — taking the ferry with us and helping us with all our luggage. He prepared mosquito repellent and medicine before our tour, wet wipes before we depart, always on hand with umbrella for us to beat the heat. That level of care is rare and deeply touching. All the butlers were very sincere and passionate. We have no words. We feel truly blessed to meet all of them. The property itself was immaculate — serene, elegant, and as uniquely charming as a Lohkah hotel can be. Lohkah remains my favourite hotel brand in China, not because of the architecture alone, but because of the people who bring these beautiful spaces to life. I will never forget the sweetness of this team: preparing a lovely tiramisu cake for my birthday, picking us up from a tea store when we got lost on the island, and accompanying us to the most beautiful sunset spots in Gulangyu. They made us feel less like guests and more like dear friends visiting from afar. Isak, Yuki, Leo, and Harlan — thank you for making our stay so remarkable, lovely, and unforgettable. I booked two Family Friendly suite rooms, looking forward to spacious accommodations featuring a living room and child-friendly amenities like a mini slide, as shown in the promotional photos. However, upon arrival, I was given a much smaller room that didn’t match what I had reserved. I raised this concern at the front desk, where I spent quite some time. The staff insisted that the room we received was the same type we had booked, but I overheard them mentioning that only four such suites were available and they were already occupied. It felt like the hotel had overbooked and assigned us a comparable but inferior room. Considering we paid several thousand dollars for accommodations suitable for our two toddlers, it was disappointing. The hotel initially offered us two breakfasts as compensation, which we declined for several reasons: we’re not breakfast people, and the value of the breakfast (CNY 50 per person, totaling CNY 100) was insignificant compared to what we spent on the rooms (HKD 1,700+ per night each). The room they assigned us seemed to be a VIP type, priced at HKD 1,400 per night, meaning we effectively lost HKD 600 (HKD 300 per night for two rooms) due to this mix-up. Instead of breakfast, we requested two extra beds so the kids could sleep there while we enjoyed the larger bed. Although they initially insisted on providing only one, we pushed for a second bed since this situation was not our fault. I brought my concerns to Trip.com, and they handled it efficiently, providing compensation, which I greatly appreciated. Aside from the room arrangement issue, our stay was pleasant. The only downside was that the room felt a bit dark. However, the kids loved having free access to the park, where they played with rabbits and fished in the pond. Overall, I'd rate our experience a 7/10.

We have been in 2 other countries in asia before, but this was by far our best hotel! We stayed with family and where immediately greeted with a warm cup of tea. We had a lot of questions to begin with and needed a driver for the rest of our trip, and the cordial service manager was so helpful and she even organized an all inclusive driver for us. Also Linda & Ashley from the hotel team helped us to the maximum extend and even stayed in contact with us via wechat, even though we already left Fuzhou, just to make sure that our trip is going smoothly and we can enjoy a great time in beautiful China. It is just excellent and outstanding service! The hotel itself is located directly on the west side of the UNESCO world heritage site of Sanfang Qixiang and when you turn right after exiting the main lobby you enter the site. The hotel is built in the same style and flair of Sanfang Qixiang ”The Beverly Hills of China” and has a lot of ambiance and elegance to it. Thanks to the 24/7 reception I was even able to get two ice packs for my swollen foot late at night There is also a coffee machine in the lobby that serves great coffee and tea and infused water and the breakfast is one floor down and has tasty vegetarian buffet. Also in the room you are greated with a tea set and a plate of fresh fruits local to the region. We were even able to send post cards from the hotel reception. Just a stellar experience! If you decide to see the beautiful cultural heritage site, then I can whole-heartedly recommend the San Po Hotel / Sanbaobindi Hotel in Fuzhou!! You will not regret it.
