Great views and right beside the Copacabana beach in Rio! Provides breakfast and great service!

Café da manhã excelente mas bateram na porta sem ligar, o quarto não estava bem limpo, muito pequeno nem dava para ver a paisagem, TV não funcionava direito e somente tomadas 220 .

Location is great, right at Copacabana beach. The hotel has its own cafe at the beach, where you can get towels and chairs/umbrellas (subject to availability though). Lots of various restaurants and cafes nearby, couple of supermarkets within a walking distance. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than check-in time, but the room was ready, which was nice. And in general the staff was great. The breakfast is the same during all the stay. Nothing special, but plenty of food is available. The room is a bit dated, but has all necessary things (kettle, coffee machine, fridge, safe, etc) and the view is magnificent. Nice small pool on the top floor. During our stay it was not crowded, but probably during the peak periods the size could be an issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We booked two rooms with the hotel: a junior suite and a standard. The suite was very spacious and opened up to the street. The windows did a good job of blocking sound so the street didn’t disturb our sleep at night. They had a parking garage that charges R$33 per day and was able to accommodate our Jeep Commander. What is warranting this poor review was the hotel staff. Upon check-in they had informed us that one of our rooms wasn’t paid for even though i had already been charged by the booking agency. He said that we had opted for pay later and they hadn’t received the payment from the booking agency. I told them that my card had been charged by the booking agency but he insisted that it was likely a hold on the card to secure the room. I’d suggested to call the booking agency but he insisted that it wouldn’t be necessary (he didn’t seem worried so I assumed he had experience with this). Come to find that I was charged twice for this room and the booking agency has been trying to get in contact with the hotel for over a week with no response. This seems like FRAUD. The second issue. Upon checkout of our suite, the lady checking us out requested a gratuity payment for the included breakfast… she estimated that based on the value of their breakfast that the suggested 10% gratuity would come out to R$180 per person. That would make their self-service breakfast be valued hire than Michelin restaurants in the area. She tried to ask the other party that was traveling with us but when I came closer she gave up. I’m wondering if this is hotel policy or if the staff at this hotel are actually running scams from the front desk. I am still trying to get a hold of them about the double charge.

We booked this hotel in Nov at an inflated price of $1500 USD for 4 nights assuming there'd be rooftop access on NYE since the hotel website didn't call out a ticketed event for that night. When we arrived, the staff told us it was in fact a ticketed event for an additional $300 USD. Perhaps our oversight but we scowered the website before booking at such a high price and it wasn't there. The manager was very helpful in accommodating a cancellation if needed, ultimately we were too tired to pack and unpack again and waste another day in transit so we stayed and bought the tickets. Check in is 2pm. We arrived at 1pm and they said they had a room for us. It wasn't ready so we went to the pool where again, service was wonderful. Front desk gave us a tour of 2 rooms to choose from which was great, but then msgd me and said they'd have a diff room ready at 2:30. We went down at 3pm and the room changed yet again and the new room still wasn't ready. We got a room with no apologies at 4pm. The room was standard. Strong cleaning smell but decent. The shower hose didn't stay in place. The shower drain did not work at all - we had to kick the water to the corner each time for it to drain or pools of water stayed until the next day. The sink also didn't drain. The toilet stopped flushing. We had a plate with one chocolate on it from NYE which by the next day was covered in ants. We are very tidy girls and give some grace for older hotels to have some flaws, but the experience for the price we paid made us appreciate the airbnbs we'd stayed at before checking in here. Location is great, gym and pool are great, but not worth the $ for NYE or Carnival.

โรงแรมมีทําเลที่ดีบนชายหาด แต่ที่พักสามารถปรับปรุงได้บ้าง  ห้องแรกที่ฉันเข้าไปมีกลิ่นตลก ฉันจึงรายงานไปที่แผนกต้อนรับ  พนักงานต้อนรับชายมองมาที่ฉัน และราวกับว่าเขาสงสัยคําพูดของฉัน  หลังจากที่ฉันยืนยัน เขาได้มอบหมายให้ฉันห้องใหม่ แต่เหลือให้ฉันเพื่อย้ายกระเป๋าเดินทางของฉัน  ไม่มีการสนับสนุนและฉันก็อดไม่ได้ที่จะถาม  ฉันถามว่าจะมีน้ําฟรีในห้องหรือไม่ เขาบอกว่าเขาจะให้แม่บ้านใส่น้ํา แต่ฉันยังรออยู่สองวันต่อมา  ปลั๊กไฟในห้องมีจํากัดและไม่ออกแบบมาสําหรับการเดินทางที่ทันสมัย ไม่มีจุด USB ทีวีเก่าและไม่ฉลาดหรือเชื่อมต่ออินเทอร์เน็ต ไม่มีช่องเคเบิลดังนั้นเกือบทุกช่องเป็นภาษาท้องถิ่นยกเว้นช่องข่าว CNN ในภาษาอังกฤษ โรงแรมค่อนข้างมีเสียงดังและมีสุนัข ผนังบางและแขกขูดเฟอร์นิเจอร์ข้ามพื้นหินอ่อน สิ่งนี้ค่อนข้างง่ายที่จะแก้ไขหากโรงแรมดูแล สระว่ายน้ําบนชั้นดาดฟ้าน่าผิดหวังเพราะค่อนข้างเล็กและมักจะเต็มไปด้วยเด็ก  ร้านอาหารปิดหลังอาหารเช้า มีบาร์แต่ไม่เคยเปิด  ปัญหาที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของฉันคืออินเทอร์เน็ต มันทํางานไม่ถูกต้องในห้องของฉันและตัดทุกสองสามนาที ฉันต้องยืนในทางเดินหรือลงมาที่ล็อบบี้เพื่อรับความคุ้มครองที่ดี ฉันบ่นกับพนักงาน แต่พวกเขาไม่ได้ทําอะไรเลยและบอกฉันว่ามันใช้งานได้  สิ่งนี้น่าผิดหวังมากและฉันจะไม่กลับมาที่โรงแรมนี้อีกแน่นอน

This is one of the best hotels that I have been to in the Rio de janerio metro area. The architecture is amazing and proof that in a tropical climate like Rio de janerio corridor can be cool without AC devices. The ground floor and away from the lobby to downstairs is very well designed. The biggest disadvantage of the hotel are the dirty chairs in the breakfast hall, balcony windows do not move as it should be, and the bath is not clean as it should be in 4 star hotel but generally speaking the hotel is very good. Recommend

Gostei muito da minha estadia. O hotel é lindo e agradável Os funcionários foram extremamente educados e prestativos, o que fez toda a diferença na experiência. Fiquei no quarto 607, que é confortável, porém percebi alguns pontos de manutenção que poderiam ser melhorados. A porta do banheiro estava com bastante dificuldade para fechar, e o ar-condicionado parecia ter um defeito na saída de ar, que estava improvisada com um “band-aid”. Outro ponto foi sobre a hidromassagem. Eu não sabia que era um serviço à parte e achei que estivesse incluída na hospedagem. Talvez essa informação pudesse ficar mais clara para os hóspedes. Apesar desses detalhes, foi um dia perfeito, aproveitei muito a estadia e com certeza voltaria
