Stayed at Flock Hostel Kathmandu and overall it was a pleasant experience, especially for budget travellers and solo backpackers. The location is quite convenient — easy to reach by taxi or InDrive from the airport, and close to Thamel area. The hostel has a calm, friendly atmosphere despite being in the city. Perfect if you want somewhere simple to rest after long walks around Kathmandu. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm. The room was clean, bed was comfortable enough, and lockers were provided. Bathrooms were shared but generally clean and usable. Hot shower was available, which is really appreciated after a long day out. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and willing to answer questions or help with directions and transport. The common area is nice for chilling, meeting other travellers, or just resting quietly. This is not a luxury place, but for the price, it’s good value for money. Suitable for backpackers, solo travellers, and anyone who prefers a relaxed, social hostel environment. Awesome! Very very satisfied with our stay at Pomelo. There’s location is great, we are just a few minutes walk from Thamel, 20 minutes walk from Sayambhu, 10 minutes taxi from Balaju… Now the service, it was the best part in the inn, the staff is really very friendly and accommodating, thank you Gyanu and Kamal who helped us for everything during our stay. We booked two rooms as a family, but we got one big family room with separated rooms, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was big and proper to use. The breakfast is the best one we had in Kathmandu, fresh and simple. There is a rooftop, from where we took a bowl of air in the evenings and mornings, really nice.

Local hotel in central Kathmandu Not far from Thalem and Durbar square Good hotel if you are travelling on a budget while enjoying a nice Nepali deco with a patio-stupa in the center of the property. Room was pretty old but reasonable for the price!
