Beautiful elegant period accommodation with antique furniture, surrounded by well manicured garden. We had fantastic views of the river and vineyards from the balcony ( room 6A) , The ”casa” is immaculately clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the spacious tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower was looking amazing. The owner Manuel was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He gave us a lift to the train station early in the morning, because of the national strike disruption and also prepared pack breakfast for us. A welcoming glass of port on our arrival also was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend Casa de Sao Domingos to anyone.

Hotel bem localizado com amplo estacionamento. Tratando-se de um edifício histórico com dois polos distintos, o seu interior está muito bem conservado e os quartos enquadram-se no espírito do forte sendo por nós considerados austeros com a casa de banho a precisar de remodelação. Pequeno almoço adequado embora o sumo de laranja seja dos piores que já bebemos e o café muito fraco. Espaços exteriores muito agradáveis e bonitos Não esquecer de visitar a capela lindíssima e muito bem conservada

Beautiful location. If you stay there is a complimentary tour of the wine making facilities. We had dinner at the restaurant which was packed... Food was above average but our medium t-bone was more of a medium well done. Swimming pool was cool and relaxing as it over looked the river. Suggest a minimum stay of 2 nights so that you can explore the town, river walk and vineyard walk.

O hotel é bem localizado, mas precisa de alguns cuidados de preçário a nível do bar. Pagamos 5 euros por favaios com cerveja, que é no mínimo inacreditável, sendo que o preço máximo em qualquer zona do país são 2 euros. Sabemos que é um hotel, mas sai completamente fora do que seria um valor razoável. Para um hotel com estes valores por noite, seria expectável que houvesse mais alguns produtos de higiene, e não um tudo em 1. O quarto é grande e agradável, mas o AC não fez muito por nós neste calor, mesmo ligado na temperatura mínima.

The villa itself was amazing. We had everything we need, and the views from the balcony was just beautiful! However, we had problems turning on the heating a/c, tried to ask for help from reception but unfortunately, no one was there. Turns out the a/c had to be turned on from their central system. We had to endure a super cold night without any heating available.

Incredible service from start to finish, best we received on our trip (which is saying something). The room was pristine, had small gifts for my better half’s birthday and the food/wine were excellent.   The honest bar was great and genuine interest in their wine was clear to see from everyone that we spoke to.

Hotel com quarto muito espaçoso e bem equipado. Chinelos e roupão incluídos. Pequeno almoço variado e com produtos de qualidade. Excelente piscina interior; spa com sauna, banho turco e jacuzzi. Espaço exterior agradável, com muitos locais de estacionamento gratuito.

The stay at Quinta do Silval was really enjoyable. The view from the pool is stunning and the room is comfortable and quiet.  Hosts are welcoming.  Warning!!! Check the road before coming because Google Maps isn’t accurate and drove us through some dirt roads.

Perfect central place to visit all of Duoro Valley - many daicruise along the River just start in Regua Small little Hotel with lovely food for Dinner - clean room - Perfect Host Host so helpful to plan your daily excursion. Would suggest min. 3 Nights stay
