It's a nice little bed and breakfast. It's old, and it shows in certain amnesties like no socket in the bathroom. Which means you've to blow dry your hair in the sleeping room. The beds are old, too. 😅 However, the rooms are spacious and clean! Unfortunately, the internet didn't work for me, at all. You are only a 3 minute walk away from a supermarket, and there are several restaurants around. The bakery across the street is amazing and delicious. And the breakfast at the b&b is typical for Germans. I really loved the hot boiled eggs. They were fresh and still hot. The breakfast is plenty! You can't do anything wrong for the price!

There will be no private bathroom and elevator. My room has odd smell (from paint smell?). The public facilities are okay clean. One of the shower didn’t work properly and the light automatically turned themselves off quickly. I had to wave my hands multiple times directly under the detector when I was showering. Location is not convenient. I arrived during weekend and I can’t find any supermarket still open nearby. I had to go back to hbf eventually. But if you prepare well it is okay. Overall it is acceptable.

We were happy and comfortable, our room was really big (5 person room) The staff were nice enough The only 24 hours coffee available was a vending machine , fortunately the black hadn't sold out It's a short walk to train station and main street Felt safe and the late check-out was great Amenities were clean and suitable I'll most likely choose it again next time if I need a hotel in the area.

Das Hotel hat einen sehr guten Fotografen, denn die Bilder versprechen mehr, als es tatsächlich ist. Eigentlich mehr ein Hostel als Hotel, in Containerbauweise. Aber es ist gut zu erreichen, Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden und die Gebühren sind sehr überschaubar. Die Containerbauweise ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Nur das Bad ist SEHR klein, besonders das Waschbecken, und Duschvorhänge sind nicht wirklich praktikabel, wenn man Überschwemmungen vermeiden will. Die Duschwannen benötigen dringend einen Rutschstopp. Das Duschen kann unter den momentanen Bedingungen schwere Verletzungen nach sich ziehen, wenn man nicht sehr gut aufpasst. Der Frühstücksraum hat eine schöne Atmosphäre und das Buffet bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Der Service ist sofort zur Stelle, wenn etwas fehlt. Alles in allem durch das gute Frühstück ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wenn man mit den richtigen Erwartungen hier bucht.

Das Hostel ist an sich ganz okay. Es liegt sehr gut und zentral, alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen wie zB den Hauptbahnhof, die Innenstadt, diverse Restaurants und Bistro, die Uni, Kultureinrichtungen etc. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und ohne Fenster, dafür aber mit Waschbecken. Die Zimmer sind top sauber! Handtücher werden gestellt, Hausschuhe nicht. Ein Fernseher ist nicht vorhanden. Gemeinschaftsduschen und -Toiletten. Es gibt keine Duschkabinen, es sind quasi offene Duschen.

Gute Lage im Zentrum von der Stadt. Sauberkeit unter den Betten müsste mal etwas getan werden. Sehr verstaubt. Für Allergiker nicht geeignet. Gläser im Zimmer waren nicht einwandfrei gereinigt und der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht. Ansonsten ging es. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend. Das Mobiliar und die Räumlichkeiten weisen altersgemäße Gebrauchsspuren auf.

We stayed here with family and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious enough for us, and the bedding felt safe and fresh for the kids. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is the free on-site parking, which made our road trip so much easier.

Lovely stay at Hotel Aegidienhof. The location is excellent, and the owner gave such a warm and welcoming reception. The property is over 100 years old but beautifully maintained, full of charm and character. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious 😍

Very close to the station but not noisy. One hour to get to hamborg airport. My room was very large approx 20m2. Very good value for money. They even.loaned me an umbrella because it raining very heavily. Good location also to town
