The location was conveniently placed next to central station. I even had a view of the beautiful Brussels Central station. The room provide everything I needed except for the mosquito that terrorized my sleep. The room also provide a fan since you can’t control the aircon.

Its prime location next to Antwerp Central Station is a major advantage. This provides easy access to public transport for exploring Antwerp and beyond, including direct Thalys connections. The rooms are described as modern and clean, which is crucial for a comfortable stay. While compact (around 13-15 sqm), they are designed to be functional, typically including a comfortable ”Sweet Bed™ by ibis budget”, a desk, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a private bathroom with a shower and eco-friendly toiletries. The room also features a separate toilet. For quick snacks and drinks outside of breakfast hours, vending machines are available but they only accept cash.

As you expect from a budget hotel, so no complaints. Room is small. Free parking. Staff Gerant is fantastic, super helpful. You can borrow hair dryer from the reception. A fantastic all-you-can-eat restaurant called “Hechi”is right next door, must give it a try if you are staying in this hotel!

Een prima kamer en vriendelijke service, maar gastvrijheid zit in de details – en die ontbreken hier. Voor een tweesterrenhotel hadden we geen hoge verwachtingen. De kamer was schoon en de locatie is goed. Maar waarom ontbreekt een simpel glas bij de wastafel? Zo’n detail kost bijna niks, maar zegt veel. Dan die ‘loterij’: bijna iedereen ‘wint’ een glas water, dat je staand bij de receptie moet opdrinken. Terwijl daar gewoon een watertap staat. Dat voelt niet als een attent extraatje, maar eerder als een flauwe marketingtruc. Jammer, want juist die kleine bezuinigingen zorgen ervoor dat je je geen echte gast voelt. Een beetje meer aandacht, en het zou zó veel beter zijn.
