hotel is located right at the heart of malacca and along the famous jonker street which is super good!! there are a lot to explore nearby and also shopping malls which are within walking distance.
shoutout to the front desk staff which provided us with excellent hospitality and customer service! thanks for being so welcoming and making us feel at home.
room is small but cozy which i love! everything looks new and is kept neat and tidy.
this will always be my to-go hotel if I ever come back to visit malacca again, thank you Timez!!!
MMuhd FirdausOur stay at Puteri Bay Melaka was great 👍🏼 The location was great because we are able to have a good view of the beach, and it was near food places. The hotel reception and staff were also kind and helpful. Food selection for breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable and had a good sleep 👍🏼👍🏼
The downside was that the toilet was not totally clean as there were strands of hairs sticking out from under the bed. Additionally, there were no toothbrushes provided in the room, and the prayer mat had an odour.
Generally, the stay was good although maybe staff need to ensure the room cleanliness and smell abit more?
I would still recommend the hotel for the comfortable beds and nice view and location beside the waterfront 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
WWong GLLocation is great as it is next to Joners Street. However, the seems like a half-hearted attempted to build a home stay. The amenities are really basic and anything who wants to here must be prepared for all the shortfalls. I will highlight just a few. The owner has kindly make available mosquito incense but you need to have your own matches or lighter which we don't have. The water flow from the shower and to the toilet sink is quite poor. It was very low on a couple of days and badly affected our conveniences. Lastly, the wall and ceiling are not well insulated. When there are people staying on the upper floor, every foot steps can be heard very loudly so much as that my partner, who is very tolerant of such things, even suggested to go up and ask the occupants to tread lightly.
The place has a lot of potential. But for now it is definitely not one that I would return to stay.
