We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting. A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!

Lovely small family run hotel, nicely situated in the old town but way from the noisy crowded streets. The room was large enough for two with a spacious bathroom. Everything was new and very clean. Breakfast was supplied, though on the room description, it stated no breakfast. Moreover, the breakfast was very good and was brought to our table, a very nice touch with freshly made breads and omelettes. The family run hotel really took care of us from early check-in to providing information and made sure we got on the local bus, which stopped outside the hotel. I would definitely recommend the Palroto hotel.

The restaurant was closed the first night and they changed our room from one big bed to 5 kids beds which was odd. The two tvs are pointless, no channels and doesn't allow Netflix or any streaming services. Staff was nice and the breakfast was great. They offer some fun outdoor activities also. I'd stay again but they should upgrade the TV's.

Very pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.

Все супер! Очень милая и приятная хозяйка и хозяин! Очень вкусно готовят! У них ужин был вкуснее, чем внизу в ресторане, так что смело можете оставаться там, да еще и с лучшим видом на город! В номере все идеально новое, красивое. Мне только подушка была высокой, но это индивидуально. Главное, при самом подъезде к отелю наверху, сделайте правильный выбор нужного поворота. Там есть указатель. Ищите его. Мы просмотрели его и заехали в тупик. Местному прохожему пришлось нас спасать 😅 мы были на большой машине Киа Соренто. Это чуть добавляло сложности из-за узких витиеватых улиц, но в целом проехать возможно. Молодые ребята встретили нас, припарковали прямо у входа и помогли с чемоданами. Спасибо! Рекомендую 😍

また旅行する機会があれば利用したいと思いました。 スタッフも親切で部屋も清潔で快適に過ごせました。部屋からの眺めも素晴らしく、朝食も美味しかったです。ありがとうございました。
