GGrace Ridnour-NollschGorgeous boutique hotel with staff that goes above and beyond. The heir of the estate actually greets guests and ensures they have a pleasant stay. We only got to stay for one night, but they upgraded our room and allowed us to enjoy the pool as we arrived early and they needed time to get the room ready. It is worth the price.
TTwinriverI stayed in Residence Inn Merida for a month in January 2024. I liked the location and services. It’s very close to the Galleria Mall, Costco and a large grocery store. You can take bus R72 to Central Merida which is very convenient if you don’t have a car or don’t want to drive.The room is clean and equipped with full kitchen. The breakfast is included. The front desk staffs are also helpful. They helped us to arrange two private day trips to Maya sites and cenotes. The only thing I would recommend is to improve the quality and add more choices to the breakfast. Not many varieties of breakfast. The refrigerator is a little bit noisy at night.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe room was lovely and big. Mirasol and Elizabeth were very kind and professional. Mirasol helped me with my bags and arranged a switch of my room when the hot water was not working. I was told it was working again in that room the next day. Great location. Make sure you request a room towards the back as I understand the rooms at the front can be noisy at night. Would recommend
ผผู้เข้าพักHorrible service! They first gave us to a room which was fine upon entering but then we saw people’s clothes and shoes. We went back to reception. She said that her colleague made mistake and gave our room away to someone else without putting in the system. She gave us another room which was smelly like hell! I asked her to change or refund. She said its the only room left and she knows its smelly and she was sorry but she couldn’t do anything. She could only put us to another room the next day. She also refused to compensate. It was midnight. We had no local sim card so had no choice but to stay. At night there was lots of noise from boiler/machine so we couldn’t sleep. It ruined our holiday. They changed us to a different room next day but refused to compensate. We had to suffer at our own cost! The location is god and the room after changed was fine. But they made us suffer for their mistake yet refused to compensate! Such a shame for a hotel to behave like this! So if you don’t want surprise or ruin your holiday, try to avoid this hotel!
ผผู้เข้าพักThe pool is nice and the hotel is located a few blocks away from the main attractions in downtown. The best part of this experience was the hotel staff. They were extra helpful and kind. Always ready to help in whatever you need. The only complaint I have is the cleanliness in the room. There was dust in some parts of the room and the sheets weren't very clean. They didn't change them. Also, the pillows aren't comfortable. But the rest of the hotel is not bad at all for the price. I slept well, the ac works well. I would stay there again.

TTorbs- Beautiful design, very new hotel, quite small (I believe around 20 rooms)
- some service aspects need to be improved (for example inconsistencies at breakfast: some days we were directly offered the continental breakfast (coffee, fruit, yogurt) and then selected our 1 dish à la carte that was included … some days we had to remind the staff about the fruit etc)
- also, they have some sort of valet parking but then when we wanted to get the car, they said currently no one can get it for us (so I had to walk there myself)
- should do better in terms of e.g informing about spa options (we never got an intro)
Also do note that due to humidity and overall climate in merida, rooms are very prone to humidity issues/mold (smell). Also, the first room we were given was right next to the bar / restaurant with loud music so we asked for a change (which was approved)
