ผผู้เข้าพักI spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts: PROS: - Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport. - Nice decors and overall pretty clean. CONS: - The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room. - Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.

ผผู้เข้าพักWe stayed here for 3 nights for vacation, below are our experience and reviews. Cons: 1. Complimentary Water (only 2 during entire stay): • Complimentary water is only provided on the first day, but this was not communicated at check-in. • The vending machine water is overpriced (4.5x supermarket price). • Clear instructions at check-in would allow guests to plan ahead and buy water elsewhere. 2. Reception Service: • No guidance on how to call the front desk from the room,resulted in us going down to reception for assistance. • Unprofessional receptionist behavior: • A receptionist prioritized personal conversations with other guests over assisting me, even after noticing I needed help. • My query took less than a minute but was delayed unnecessarily, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. 3. Housekeeping Issue: • Despite placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, housekeeping knocked repeatedly and did not respond when asked who was there. • The door lacked a peephole, which raised safety concerns as we couldn’t verify who was outside. 4. Taxi Drop-off: • The hotel’s entrance is on a ramp near a traffic light, making it difficult for taxi to stop directly in front of the door. • Guests with heavy luggage may find it inconvenient as taxis often park farther away. Some Pros: • Excellent location near a park with a charming Christmas market. • Safe area with plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient. • Decent-sized rooms with ample space and a large desk for working. • Good breakfast options.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel building looks old but it's much better inside. I appreciate the family room which makes my life much easier when travelling with kids. The buffet breakfast was good too. We were starving when we arrived at the hotel, so we rushed into the hotel restaurant for lunch set (EUROS 19 with main course, salad bar and tea/coffee) , rather nice. Overall, value for money hotel, will come back.

PPimmy**We have a great stay at the 7 hotel. We definitely return and recommend the place to everyone we know who will visit Lisbon. Everything was perfect for our 3 nights stay. My mom was sick, so we spend most of the time in the room and there was no problem. The room, even though not super big, however, has everything we needed. More than enough supplies of toilets and kitchen amenities. The bathroom is also functioning. I wish there could be a hanger for face cleaning and shampoo, I saw there maybe use to be one but it’s broken, hopefully the hotel repair them soon. The location couldn’t be better, it’s near to Santa Justa elevator and Baixa metro was just step away. Shopping street and bus stop was right in front. We were right in the city center, yet the noise wasn’t so much. We sleep perfectly. On the arrival day, we arrived at 14.00PM after the long 24 hours and 3 connecting flights. The staff are very kind to let us in early for an hour which was really appreciated. On the check out date, we also able to check out 15 mins late which was great too. We book with breakfast included, I love the pancakes and my mom just love the hot scramble eggs, sourdough and watermelon. Even though, the choices wasn’t a lot like a lot, but everything was tasty. Overall, recommended

ผผู้เข้าพักLa ubicación del hotel está a 15 minutos en metro del centro y 30 minutos andando, eso sí, con la boca de metro a 20 metros del hotel cosa que se agradece! En general la habitación estaba bien, poco ruidoso y zona tranquila. Lo único “malo” es el olor a humedad y cañería que se cuela en la habitación desde el baño, pero ventilando se hace soportable. Igualmente, la tele no es Smart TV ni funcionan los canales!

ผผู้เข้าพักThe location was good and the people at the reception were lovely. But, I would say those are really the only positives. First of all, I wouldn’t recommend booking though this site, as it claims to offer the option to pay on checkin, but charges you before. This happens because this website is a 3rd party, they book a room for you through Expedia. They will claim it’s just on hold - spoiler alert, it’s not. But I digress. Back to the hotel, the walls are paper thin, I had the pleasure to be awakened by my neighbours doing the devil’s tango as if they were in my room. The toilet also made weird noises non stop, like water filling in, it was quite annoying too. The cleaning ladies were lovely and really thorough with the cleaning and making sure everything is as clean as can be, however the infrastructure is so old that no matter how much cleaning is done, some things need to be changed (sink full of scratches, toilet full of scratches and with old rust stains in bottom, towels smelling funky sometimes, shower without a detachable handle, no place to put your shower gel, even though there were holes where some sort of holder should be). Long story short, the hotel really needs some renovation because it is called “suites” but feels a lot like my college dorm. Another rather shocking thing for me was that the shower gel/shampoo bottles were refilled, not swapped, which for me feels super unhygienic, specially since they were very tiny bottles (10-15ml). Also, not all outlets were functional, which is rather annoying in 2023. And last, but not least, 25€ per person for an airport transfer? Am I taking a limo? An Uber is 15€ tops in total. In summary, lovely service but the rooms need some TLC. I would book again if the price was as good as this time since the location is really great, but I wouldn’t splurge on it.
