"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at Mövenpick Bintan – Special Mention to Michelle! This was my first time visiting Bintan and also my first stay at Mövenpick Bintan, and honestly, choosing this resort was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The resort is huge, and since there is so much to explore within the property, they provide buggy services to bring guests around, which is really convenient. As Bintan doesn’t have a huge variety of attractions to explore outside the resort, we specifically wanted somewhere that could keep us entertained for 3 days and Mövenpick definitely delivered. We stayed while the resort is still under soft opening, so naturally there may be a few minor things that are still being fine-tuned. However, what impressed me the most was the service attitude of the entire team. Every staff member we met was professional, friendly and genuinely helpful. They always had a smile, proactively approached guests to check if we needed anything, and even took the time to have small conversations with us. I’m also a hotelier myself, so I can confidently say that the team here is doing a really great job, especially considering they are still in their soft-opening phase. A very special mention to Michelle, who assisted us during check-in. From the very beginning, Michelle was incredibly friendly and made sure we had a smooth and seamless experience throughout our stay. We did encounter a minor room issue during our stay, but she immediately followed up and made sure it was resolved as quickly as possible. What I appreciated even more was that she didn’t just solve the problem and walk away. Throughout our entire stay, she would proactively approach us and check whether everything was okay and whether we were enjoying our stay. That kind of genuine care really makes a difference. Michelle is honestly one of the best hotel staff we have ever encountered, and I truly hope the management recognises her efforts. She is definitely an asset to the resort. The Kids Club is huge, and our kids absolutely loved it! They even have a sleeping room and movie room for the little ones, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The resort also has multiple swimming pools, including the ocean pool, kids’ pool and the pool at the beach club, so there’s always somewhere different to enjoy. I personally loved all the little details around the resort, especially the kids’ amenities. Even the shower amenities provided for children were so thoughtfully prepared. It’s these small touches that really show the resort has put a lot of thought into the family experience. We also absolutely loved the buffet breakfast. There was a great variety of choices, including plenty of pastries, desserts and even ice cream! One of my favourite touches was the kids’ corner, where children can actually get their own food. It may seem like a small thing, but it made breakfast more fun for our kids and was definitely a plus point for us as parents. Overall, despite still being in the soft-opening stage, we had a really wonderful 3 day stay at Mövenpick Bintan The combination of the beautiful and spacious resort, family-friendly facilities, thoughtful little details, great food and most importantly the genuinely warm service from the staff made our stay memorable. For our first trip to Bintan, I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better resort. If you’re looking for a place where you can simply stay in the resort, relax, enjoy the facilities and keep the kids entertained for a few days, Mövenpick Bintan is definitely worth considering. "Super nice and worthy of every penny spent! I love this place sooo much the vibes and everything is just top! Don't worry abt transportation you can arrange everything at the hotel lobby conveniently. Transportation is pricey but once you go outside of resorts, will be super cheap seafood heaven! Flexible arrangements here, breakfast spread are impressive and Tipi Bar here is amazing! Their service is top tier and the drinks here are nice! Definitely coming here again but take note the spendings within the resorts can be pricey."

"We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Banyan Tree Bintan to celebrate my birthday and Mother’s Day. While the resort itself is lovely—we especially enjoyed our seaview rainforest villa—it was the people who made our stay truly unforgettable. The service and hospitality were incredible. The staff went above and beyond, from enthusiastically helping my husband coordinate birthday surprises to providing exceptional service at every meal. We were consistently impressed by the team members who delivered and beautifully set up our room service, the housekeeping staff who kept our villa pristine, and the thoughtful team who surprised my son with a fantastic turndown treat. The genuine care shown by the staff is the primary reason I would return, and I truly hope the resort continues to value and foster such an amazing team. Regarding the amenities, while the resort does show its age, it didn’t detract from our experience. Our only suggestion would be to refresh the villa pools, as we encountered some issues with water clarity during our stay. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would certainly recommend the resort for its world-class service. Shout out to Winny (reception), Daus, Lilik, Darwis, and Hamid who made our stay (and my birthday and Mother's Day) truly magical! I also want to compliment the staff of all three restaurants: Treetop (they made my son his favorite orange and carrot juice every morning), Saffron, and Cove — food was great but service even better."
