"The place is nice, especially the location. We were in February it was rather cold and dump. The bathroom doesn't have a heater (most places in Europe don't have). Unfortunately for the first night the TV didnt work, we asked for it to be repaired, they told us since it's Sunday, not much can be done, and we waited until next day. The heater in the room itself acted weird, was turning off and on by itself. Going from super hot to super cold. Otherwise everything was okay."
LLINGINBOWonderful place! Good location, quite near the subway and bus station and nearby there are many attractions. Warm-hearted staffs and they really treat you like a friend. The room is very tidy and the bed is cozy. Everything is satisfying.
Beautiful place, and beautiful views, clean and tidy. I was in a shared dorm and was three bunk beds high :/, room was cool with Aircon. Nice shared Kitchen, but oven was broken and even though my food was labelled someone took it:/.
But overall a beautiful place, I don't know why everyone is complaining about it being up a hill though, as in Portugal it can't be avoided.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe Art Inn was in a great location and is walkable to all major tourist locations. The hotel is clean and the service is good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There are a lot of steep stairs and the elevator only goes to a few floors but you still need to climb a flight of steps. Of steps are an issue for you o would reconsider this hotel. They have a fantastic roof top bar that overlooks Lisbon and the castle- it is lovely. Overall, I would recommend there if you are looking for a reasonable hotel in a great location.
ผผู้เข้าพักI loved the location. The historic 28E line of the streetcar passed by the door with the stop just a block down the hill. The Metro, which I relied on completely to explore the city, was just two and a half blocks away. Dozens of restaurants in the neighbourhood with loads more down the many twisting side streets. I also loved the historic nature of the building and accommodations. The well worn, possibly centuries old, spiral staircase with its interior space now filled with an elevator, were a great introduction to the European experience I was looking for.
I arrived later in the evening and hadn't received the latest email asking for an updated arrival time but, once contact was made, getting registered proved easy enough. I sign at the front door would be helpful.
