"The hotel was in a great location very near a Metro station and very central. There were lots of good restaurants near by, which were very reasonable priced. The reception staff were lacking and in need of much better training. They are the face of the hotel and if they are not happy smiling and attentive it leaves a very bad impression with customers. We found them to be very unapproachable and not forthcoming in their assistance. No smile, no cheer, no willingness to assist. In complete contrast Ruben who looks after the breakfast room was caring, happy, attentive and went out of his way and did whatever necessary to make your breakfast as joyful and perfect as possible. The rooms were clean and spacious although we did have an issue with a green flashing light in the room. I called down to reception and they told me how to resolve this. In general I would recommend the hotel but management need to resolve reception staff issues for it to be a great hotel."

"Yes it is not in central central but there is frequent bus service that takes you straight to the central. Room is cleaned everyday and for the price, this deserves more than 2 stars rating. I absolutely adored my room and it is so clean, quiet and modern. There are food nearby and it is so convenient."

"The hotel is near a metro station and within walking distance of top attractions in the Alfama and Chiado areas, so it's rather convenient for tourists. The room is pretty clean, though the age of the amenities can be seen. There's a Lidl nearby for grabbing necessities and snacks. Staff are friendly and helpful."
