วิลล่าขนาดเล็ก ห้องพักสะอาด เป็นระเบียบ อบอุ่นและเงียบสงบมาก บริการดีและกระตือรือร้นมาก เราอาศัยอยู่บนชั้น 3 ไม่มีลิฟต์ ร้านค้าช่วยนํากระเป๋าเดินทางไปที่ห้อง และที่จอดรถก็สะดวก สภาพแวดล้อมการอยู่อาศัยรายสัปดาห์ดีและการเดินทางก็สะดวก เดินเลียบแม่น้ํา 20 นาทีเพื่อชมทิวทัศน์และเดินไปยังสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในย่านใจกลางเมืองได้อย่างรวดเร็ว อาหารเช้ามีราคาแพงมาก หนึ่งวันสองคืนเป็นประสบการณ์ที่น่ารื่นรมย์

We booked two lovely ”King” rooms - very clean and comfortable, in superb settings. The hotel is very conveniently located to allow a short walk into the town. We stayed for two nights, and there were busy weddings on both days - but there was minimal noise, and the wedding guests added to the lovely atmosphere. The hotel appeared to be almost fully booked for both days, so finding that only ONE lift was working was less than helpful (we were told that the other lift had been out of action ”for some time”, due to the hotel ”awaiting spare parts”?) Annoyingly, the one working lift only went up to the 4th floor, so to reach our room on the 5th floor we had to hump our suitcases up the stairs - minor inconvenience, but unexpected from such a prestigious hotel. Our biggest gripe was (a.) the lack of available parking spaces (one car park had a huge marquee erected on it for a function) and (b.) being told when checking in that there was a parking charge of £18 per night - even though there was no mention on the website or on the booking details. It felt rather ”cheap and petty” for a hotel to have to stoop to fleecing their guests for parking fees to park at their hotel! We estimated that there were around 150 cars - so guests with cars are subsiding the hotel by over £2500 per night. All-in-all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a lovely hotel set in lovely surroundings - we would definitely stay there again.

Yes the room was dated, and yes the room was hot. However the room was clean, comfortable and a fan was provided to help circulate the warm air. The windows have restricted openings most likely due to H&S but with the fan it was enough to move the warm air out and allow cooler air in. Check up was chaotic but the lady apologized and explained they had a member of the staff off sick. She worked her way through everyone as quickly as she could giving everyone the same warm welcome. Breakfast was enjoyable and the spa area was a delight offering everything you need. After checking out I realized I left my sunglasses in the room. The cleaning team were so helpful allowing me access to retrieve them and to double check I had everything

We had the most gorgeous stay at No.1 Guest House - if there wasn’t so much to see and do in York we would have happily just stayed in and enjoyed the hotel all weekend. The staff were amazing, especially Ellie, who made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. We loved just sitting in the bar area with a cocktail (the rosy margarita was amazing) and looking at all the art and the cute steam train. The hotel is sooo cosy and perfect for this time of year. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel only 10 minutes walk from the city centre  Our room was clean and cosy  In the room was hairdryer, iron and ironing board as well as tea/coffee facilities and an electric fan which was definitely needed with temps reaching 29 degrees 🥵 The outdoor area was stunning with lots of seating and little pods to dine in of an evening very pretty all lit up at night  All the staff were friendly and helpful  We will definitely return in the near future.

แรงดันน้ำในห้องอ่อนมาก และไม่สามารถแก้ไขปัญหาใดๆ ได้ในระหว่างที่เราเข้าพัก พื้นที่จอดรถมีจำกัด แต่เราก็หาได้ โรงแรมสวยงามริมแม่น้ำและสามารถเดินไปยังตัวเมืองได้ ซึ่งเราเพลิดเพลินกับการเดินเล่นมาก

สภาพแวดล้อม: ทำเลที่ตั้งค่อนข้างดี เดินจากสถานีรถไฟประมาณ 10 นาที ทำให้สะดวกแม้จะมีกระเป๋าเดินทาง โรงแรมยังอยู่ใกล้กับสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวสำคัญใจกลางเมือง เช่น มหาวิหารที่มีชื่อเสียง และย่านเดอะแชมเบิลส์ ซึ่งใช้เวลาเดินเพียง 15 นาทีข้ามสะพาน สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก: สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกค่อนข้างดี บรรยากาศอบอุ่นและน่าอยู่ ฉันชอบโทนสีมาก ห้องน้ำมีอ่างอาบน้ำและมีรูปถ่ายเก่าๆ ของเมืองยอร์ก ให้ความรู้สึกแบบวินเทจ บริการ: บริการรวดเร็ว แม้ว่าห้องพักจะไม่ได้ทำความสะอาดในวันแรก แต่พนักงานบริการห้องพักก็ตอบสนองอย่างรวดเร็วหลังจากที่ฉันโทรไป บริการเป็นกันเองและการสื่อสารราบรื่น

Booked to attend an exam nearby (5 min walk). Room nice and big, had everything we needed. Check in check out quick and easy, parking £8 for 24 hours. I asked for a quiet room but definitely was not quiet there was a private function going on with very loud music which didn’t with being prepared and well rested for an early morning exam on Saturday.
