I was booked into one of the Villa Suites, and it was an experience in itself. The suite was beautifully appointed, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, blending elegance with comfort in a way that felt both indulgent and homely. Every detail from the plush furnishings to the serene garden views contributed to a sense of effortless relaxation. It truly felt like a private sanctuary. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. Staff members were warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. Whether it was assistance with luggage, dining recommendations, or simply a friendly check‑in to ensure everything was perfect, the team consistently delivered with professionalism and charm. The hotel grounds are equally impressive. Lush, tranquil, and meticulously maintained, they create a peaceful escape that feels worlds away from the bustle of the city. It’s the ideal setting for unwinding, whether by the pool, in the spa, or simply strolling through the gardens. Dining at Fairlawns was another highlight. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour, with a menu that balances creativity and comfort. Every meal felt like a treat. Hotel is rated at 5star but the amenities are quite average. The standard king size room is smaller than I have experience in some other hotels if that range. You do not find water glasses in the room. Room service is very slow and sometimes your call will just keep transferring between room service and reception if you needed something. If you ordered food in your room, you have to make payment immediately. It does not amount up to check out. There is only one restaurant, one cafe in the hotel. You can walk up to nearest restaurant for your food that is 800m away.Pool is there but you have to carry your own towel. The day we arrived, there was a birthday party around the pool with loud music. We avoided going to pool side. Shoe shiner is in the lobby and if you get your shoes cleaned he needs to be paid as compliment and that complement begins with 100rand minimum. To me it’s an average hotel and ok for a couple of days. It had some conference going on so extra crowd was also in the lobby for the two days we stayed If you are looking for a luxery experience, better choose another hotel. This hotel is ok for not more than two days of stay.

After a long day I was getting ready to have a hot bubble bath only to find out that there was no hot water. The maintenance staff came to check and casually told me to wait 40 minutes for the water to heat up. It was so late and I was so tired. We ended up having to move to a different room with hot water, only to find out later that night that there were monkeys on the roof making so much noise throughout the night and there was very loud music going into the night from a neighboring property. Safe to say we didn't get much sleep. Not to mention the food we ordered from the restaurant was horrible, the fish was not fresh and the chips were undercooked. The salad was also terrible. We didn't even bother to stay for breakfast after it had taken more than an hour to get someone to fix the broken hair dryer and deliver my pillow which I had left in the previous room. The staff clearly do not care. Our spa treatments were also not that great. I'm quite disappointed as I've heard such good things about this place and I won't be returning. The location is great but for the price I don't think its worth it.

We made use of the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The drivers were helpful and friendly. This is a great value-added service. We were welcomed at reception by friendly staff. We were helped to our rooms. The rooms are modern, functional, and comfortable. We went to the 6th floor for dinner. The restaurant and bar there is called Level Seven. The staff there told us it was a privately owned restaurant and bar. We sat in the bar and ordered food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The only good thing about the food that night was that the fries were awesome and seasoned well. Breakfast the next morning in the main restaurant on the ground floor was exceptional—friendly staff and really good food. Overall, a great stay, let down unfortunately by the food at Level Seven.

I loved everything about this hotel. I got drinks menu on arrival which was served free of charge, wasn’t expecting that in South Africa🤪🤪 Check in was super quicknand smooth, beautiful room with proper amenities. The hotel is in a good location sorrounded by nature. The services was 10/10, with super friendly and helful staff. I was impressed by the breakfast options and the restaurant itself….stunning and aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t like their cocktails menu🥺🥺 they don’t have classic ones. 90% of their cocktails are made with sminorf 18/18 which isn’t cool. Overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay and truly experienced some of the best hotel service of our entire South Africa trip. The staff went far beyond our expectations — always warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made us feel so welcomed and well looked after throughout our stay. The hotel is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood, giving us great peace of mind while exploring the area. We also loved the room design — beautifully styled, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, making it a perfect place to relax after a day out. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I originally booked for 2 nights...had to stay another as it is just fabulous ❤️❤️❤️ This place and Michelle and staff are true gems

I arranged four king-bed rooms at this hotel for my guests. Unfortunately, their experience at the hotel restaurant was quite unsatisfactory. During the meal, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only our table present. Despite this, service was noticeably slow and inattentive. After the starters were cleared, there was a long delay before anyone followed up regarding the main course. Even after ordering, plates were not brought in time, and the overall pace of service was unusually slow. Under such circumstances, it was difficult to understand the reason for the delay.
