Hotel was in a nice location, quiet and peaceful. Amenities were well maintained, but I hope the swimming pool could glass panel could be better maintained. It looks “mouldy” and dirty. Also, the shower door inside the common toilet in the suite I was staying in on the 21st floor would not fully open. The location of the towel rails needs to be changed to avoid any major accidents like the door shattering

The swimming pool and gym are really great, with security patrolling, ensuring the safety of the guests. The room is really spacious, bed is comfortable, no bedbugs, really have a good night sleep. Wifi is powerful, no issue connecting various devices. I really hope they provide a TV in the bedroom, so I can watch Netflix, so I don't have to restrict myself in the living room. The unit comes with a washer cum detergent, really helpful.

The unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed is bouncy and we slept well. The place also comes with useful amenities like a fridge, electric stove, oven, iron and hair dryer. However, there is no water dispenser or water filter provided. Basic utensils such as plates, spoons and bread knives are available, but there are no forks, bowls or other cooking tools, so you may need to bring your own or purchase separately if you plan to cook. The downside was the check-in experience. We were only given the access card without the bedroom key, and ended up stuck outside for almost an hour trying to figure out how to enter. The owner’s response was quite late, which made the situation frustrating. The TV in the room was also not functioning. On the positive side, the owner did allow a late check-out at 1pm. Overall, the stay was comfortable after settling in, but the initial access issue and late response affected the first impression.

We had a wonderful stay at Anantara Resort & Villas Desaru. The resort is beautifully designed, with a relaxing atmosphere and stunning surroundings. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. It’s a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful beachside escape. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel with its own private beach and excellent facilities (including free bicycles for an hour) and top notch service. Breakfast was good in terms of variety and quality, as one would expect of a 5 star hotel. However, the rooms - although spacious and well equipped - had visible signs of wear and tear, and badly needed an update. The complimentary coffee/tea could also be better. For the price, one would expect better.

Loveee everything about my stay. I booked two rooms and requested for the rooms to be next to each other and they managed to accomodate my request. Also love the cleanliness, the good smell of the bedsheet, biggg room, nice golf view and acceptable spread of breakfast. Will definitely repeat my stay. Its just one of my room a bit gloomy due to broken foyer light. But too tired to change the room haha nvm thank you.
