A short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured. Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel. As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you. Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.

โรงแรมก็โอเค และทำเลที่ตั้งก็เยี่ยมยอด ฉันไปวิ่งตอนเช้าที่ La Rambla ทุกวัน ร้านอาหารมิชลินสตาร์บนชั้นสองก็ค่อนข้างดีเช่นกัน ฉันหักหนึ่งดาวเพราะเข้าใจว่าไม่มีห้องว่างตอนที่ฉันไปถึงก่อนเวลา แต่ทางโรงแรมก็ไม่ได้มีบริการอะไร (เช่น อัพเกรดห้องพักหรือเช็คอินก่อนเวลา หรือแม้แต่มีที่พักผ่อนในคาเฟ่) ด้วยความจำเป็น ฉันเลยไปนั่งที่คาเฟ่และร้านขนมใกล้ๆ และไม่ถึงสิบนาทีต่อมา กระเป๋าของฉันก็ถูกขโมย... ฉันจะไม่พูดถึงส่วนที่เหลือ แต่โดยรวมแล้วเป็นประสบการณ์ที่ไม่น่าพอใจเลย เนื่องจากฉันเดินทางไปสเปนบ่อย และเที่ยวบินของฉันมักจะเป็นช่วงเช้าตรู่ ฉันจะเลือก Royal Palace Hotel อีกครั้งในอนาคตอย่างแน่นอน ความปลอดภัยต้องมาก่อน

Recently stayed at this hotel and i can gladly say i have loved it and it is a very aesthetically pleasing hotel. Staff are very nice and welcoming. Location is not city centre but it is about 15-20 min out depending on where you go, i used uber to go everywhere and this cost about 10€ - 20€. I was disappointed because two days before my trip i was made aware that i had to pay a 400€ deposit or a 800€ deposit which was also made unclear on their website. I wish they had made this more clear. To make this clear for everyone else , it is 100€ per night with a credit card and 200€ per night with debit card. At the end of the stay we still had to pay for a 40€ city tax. Considering we already payed alot for this hotel, having to pay a high amount of deposit is ridiculous. They do have a spa, but not included with the hotel so you have to pay an extra 40€ which i also thought it was quite upsetting. Everything else was great and very nicely equipped with everything we needed.

Super mooi nieuw hotel met meerdere zwembaden. Aardig personeel en uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Wij waren hier voor 3 dagen in oktober maar zijn zeker van plan terug te komen in de zomer!

ประการแรกคือราคาแพงเกินไปและไม่คุ้มค่าเท่าไหร่ รู้สึกร้อนมากแม้จะปรับอุณหภูมิไปที่ต่ำสุดแล้ว (ต่ำสุดที่เป็นไปได้คือ 19 องศาเซลเซียส) ห้องพักค่อนข้างเก่า และมีน้ำไหลออกมาจากห้องอาบน้ำขณะอาบน้ำ ห้องน้ำมืดมาก แพ็กเกจนี้ราคาประมาณ 6,000 ดอลลาร์ฮ่องกง และฉันมั่นใจเลยว่าเทียบไม่ได้กับโรงแรม 5 ดาวใหม่ๆ อื่นๆ ในบาร์เซโลนา สิ่งที่ดีที่สุดเกี่ยวกับ W คือบาร์/ร้านอาหารที่ชั้น 26 พนักงานโดยทั่วไปหยาบคายและไม่สุภาพ อาจรวมถึงพนักงานรักษาความปลอดภัยบางคนด้วย พนักงานต้อนรับที่ช่วยเช็คอินก็ไม่ค่อยเป็นมิตรเช่นกัน อาจเป็นเพราะมีแขกรออยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก

ทุกอย่างก็โอเค แต่บางทีเราอาจจะใช้บริการรูมเซอร์วิสแล้วไม่ได้เก็บ ทำให้วันรุ่งขึ้นมีแมลงสาบอยู่ในห้องน้ำหลายตัว ซึ่งค่อนข้างลำบาก นอกจากนี้ โรงแรมยังมีข้อจำกัดที่เข้มงวดมากเกี่ยวกับจำนวนผู้เข้าพัก ผู้ใหญ่สองคนและเด็กสองคนต้องพักในห้องสองห้องหรือห้องสำหรับครอบครัว ไม่ใช่ห้องสวีท ฉันไม่รู้ว่านี่เป็นเรื่องเฉพาะของบาร์เซโลนาหรือเปล่า แต่โรงแรมที่ฉันเคยพักในเมืองอื่นๆ ไม่เคยเป็นแบบนี้

Good location, close enough to the sagrada familia. Quiet at night. However, compared to other 5-star hotels, this hotel has a very small lobby and crude elevators that don’t match a 5-star rating. Hardware-wise, it’s probably 4-star at best. Service - Concierge staff was polite upon check in, but the display of hospitality stopped there. Thereafter, door men at the gate didn’t greet or even acknowledge guests upon leaving or returning to the hotel. Considering the hotel lobby was so small that guests literally passed by in front of them, it came across as quite indifferent and awkward. Amenities - There were intermittent sounds of water dripping onto a metal surface in my room during my stay. My guess is the air con system had some flaws. I asked the concierge to send people to check when I was outside (which they did), but there was no follow up afterwards and the dripping sound remained the second night. Besides, the staff who entered my room for checking took away my room card from the electricity holder, which should have never been allowed for safety considerations because the room card was registered under my name and no other person should have it during my stay.

I absolutely loved this hotel — it’s truly the best hotel in Barcelona! The classic and luxurious theme gives it a special charm. The room size is amazing; although it says 24 sqm, it feels much bigger, especially the bathroom, which is surprisingly spacious compared to other hotels. One very thoughtful detail is that the room includes an adapter converter, which was extremely helpful for us with UK plugs. Another lovely touch is the chocolate they place on the bed every day after housekeeping — such a sweet gesture! The location is perfect, right in the middle between the two most popular tourist areas. The Big Bus stop is also right outside, which makes getting around so easy, especially if you plan to use the hop-on hop-off bus. I definitely recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay here again!

Великолепный персонал гостиницы.Очень отзывчивые и дружелюбные работники! Всегда готовы помочь: с такси, с рекомендациями,с бронированием билетов. Очень хорошие завтраки, встречают и провожают. Единственный момент,о котором могу сказать-это кондиционер в номере,я не смогла с ним подружиться и мне было холодно,спас халат😁😅 Все остальное,а особенно расположение-прекрасно! Очень симпатичный испанский ресторан, который дружелюбно встретил и в 22.00😇

ได้เข้าพักห้อง Suite ชั้นบนสุดของโรงแรม ห้องไม่ใหญ่ แต่มีระเบียงเล็กๆ สองชั้น !! อันนี้สําหรับแช่น้ําร้อนและอีกห้องเหมาะกับการอาบแดด พนักงานมีอัธยาศัยที่ดี เป็นมิตร มาก แต่ไม่ได้สัมผัสอาหารเช้าของโรงแรม
