We stayed at New West Street International Hotel for total of 10 nights as we accompanied our child at a nearby Chinese school in the summer. This extended time gave us the opportunity to really got to experience the hotel facilities, the food, and the service.  First the location.The actual location is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the actual West Street. To us, the distance is actually a good thing. Food, shops, and amenities at West Street are overly tailored for tourists. The hotel location is quiet and peaceful. Nearby are many local restaurants and shops that we much preferred. In fact, we found ourselves walking away from the West Street direction to get some great local foods everyday of our stay. That said, the hotel offers an excellent shuttle service beginning at 3:30pm until late at night if that's what you are into.  Second, the hotel building itself is in excellent condition. It appears many of the facilities and rooms were recently renovated. The lobby is open and airy and makes a comfortable gathering spot for us to meet our friends before heading out. The hotel sometimes accommodates tour groups. Even when we see as many as three tour buses parked in the back, the hotel does not feel congested nor noisy. The room itself is tastefully updated with a large flat screen TV, USB-C chargers, and automated curtains. The beds were comfortable and our balcony room faced a beautiful karst mountain and a nearby pond. The room appears to have great noisy insulation. We did not hear our neighbors like we did in other Chinese hotels. Third, the place is always clean. We see staff cleaning public areas all the time, wiping down handrails, elevator buttons, countertops. etc. As for our room, the home keeper always kept it clean and orderly. We had some problems with smell the first day. A housekeeper came and troubleshoot the problem to durian smell in the mini-fridge. Not only did she wipe it down, but even without us asking, the later came back with another mini-fridge to make sure no smell was left. That really made an impression on us. Next, the staff. Everyone we encountered was always friendly and greeted us. From the cleaning staff to the front desk reception to the restaurant waiters. Everyone was friendly. We can only speak limited mandarin but the staff still talked to us best they could in English. Rachel, the manager on site, was especially friendly to make sure we got everything we needed. She understands we were staying for an extended period of time so she was always asking what can be improved for our long stay. The hotel added us to WeChat where they respond quickly to all the typical requests like room service to sending us extra water. I wish more hotels do this.  Finally, the facilities. We used the laundry room daily. There are 5 washers and 3 dryers by my count. Most of the time, I can find an empty machine to wash my laundry. Mornings are best for doing laundry. After dinner time is the busiest time. We occasionally had to take out other people's laundry that were just sitting there but it's rare. The pool is large, warm, and clean. The shallow end is perfect for kids or just wading around. The deep end is 1.7M deep so it's plenty for actual swimming. We also used the on-site travel agent to book a private transfer to the Guilin high speed station. Rachel happened to be nearby when we did this and she helped with some translation with the agent and it was very appreciated. The restaurant was large and there was always space for us to sit even when there are large tour groups. It offers mainly Chinese options but also have some Western items. Food was abundant and delicious. The Guilin rice noodles in the back is tasty and the broth is excellent. The only thing is the coffee could be a little bit better! We loved our stay at the New West Street International Hotel and would not hesitate to go back next time we visit Yangshuo.

”Extra-Large Bathtub” doesn't even begin to describe how incredibly large this bathtub was. It was more like a swimming pool. I was in heaven. I loved this hotel, the desk staff don't speak any English but they have these little ai-translation hand held devices (picture a dictaphone that translates) and are extremely helpful with a can-do attitude. I had some urgent documents I needed delivering and the staff were beyond helpful with that, I am very grateful to them. Also upon check-in they bumped me up to a suite (I didn't ask they were just being nice) and holy moly what a room. It was fabulous. The styling of this place is very old colonial palace vibes, I know they have some history displays up relating to the war but I didn't look into it, but it had a very classic airy vibe with traditional furniture and styling and I loved it. Some elements are a bit careworn and showing their age, but everything was immaculately clean. So, yes some elements like the carpeting may have seen better days but it's due to age rather than lack of attention, everything that mattered was sparkling. My shower could have fit about 5 people in there, and the bathtub another 6, so that was a real highlight, but the location was superb as well, it is on a private little resort island right next to the lake where the pagodas and bridges are. There is an easy access exit gate to the lakes, however I think it was run by the other hotel on the island because my key card didn't work late at night, however I must admit I had had a few and maybe wasn't the most able bodied reviewer in that moment. I recommend asking the staff because each night after the lake show with the performance and music lots of families were coming in that back way, so it's definitely possible I was just un-prepared. Regardless, even if you get locked out it's a short walk around to the other side of the island and the gatemen are very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel although it is not technically run by the hotel which just means it closes slightly earlier (much later than anywhere in Europe still), and when I went in the staff were just sitting around so I wasn't sure if they were open, but when they saw me they sprang into life and actually the older ladies spoke quite a lot of English and were very chatty and friendly, and they also have an iPad with an English ordering app so it is a breeze eating there. The food was very high quality and delicious, it was more expensive than eating in town but I would not say over priced given how good it was. The bar in the hotel is also nice. You can get delivery food brought directly to your room which is also excellent. They don't have room service food but why would you bother when delivery is available. The hotel has a private drive way so getting picked up for excursions or Didi rides is so easy, and the area is beautifully quiet and there are lots of birds. It is very close to all the attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which makes doing things (or retreating home due to the fearsome heat) very easy. I will warn you the hotel is nicely airy in the way old villas in Europe are, but because of that your air conditioning will never match that kind of incredible ice cold blast you might be familiar with in Hong Kong. Obviously, this is a very small problem when you can easily cool off in the mega-bath or mega-shower or just sit at a comfortable level of air conditioning, but if you are the kind of foreign traveller who is unaccustomed to the strong heat just be aware that this is a vintage place so you won't be able to whack the AC down to 15c and freeze yourself for relief. I really recommend this hotel, it was absolutely lovely. Oh also there is a lovely jovial old man who comes round in the evening to deliver you milk at bedtime every day, what a guy.

Our stay at ShiXi TianYue Riverview Hotel was absolutely flawless, and every detail reflected high quality. Stunning Sunrise View: The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the sunrise seen directly from my room. Watching the first light hit the winding River and the layered karst peaks was a truly priceless visual experience. High-Quality Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea was exquisite. With a perfect balance of sweet and savory treats made from fresh ingredients, it was such a sophisticated way to relax by the river. Savory Breakfast: The breakfast was equally impressive! There was a wide variety of authentic choices, from traditional rice noodles to delicate pastries. You can tell the chef puts a lot of heart into every dish. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout. If you're looking for the ultimate combination of river views and culinary delights, this is the place to be!

ตอนที่มาถึงโรงแรมอารมณ์ไม่ค่อยดีเท่าไหร่ นั่งแท็กซี่จากสถานีมาโรงแรมใช้เวลาครึ่งชั่วโมงมิเตอร์ขึ้น 103 หยวน ทั้งที่ในแอป Didi ราคาแพงสุดแค่ 70 หยวน และคนขับไม่ให้ใบเสร็จที่มีเวลาและระยะทางระบุ ให้แต่ใบเสร็จราคาคงที่เท่านั้น จึงอยากเตือนทุกคนว่าอย่าสะดวกสบายเกินไปโดยการเรียกแท็กซี่นอกสถานี เพราะคนขับอาจโกงมิเตอร์ได้ พอดีน้องสาวอายุครบ 60 ปีในวันนั้น ตอนจองห้องพักกับ Trip.com ได้ระบุไว้ว่าต้องการให้ตกแต่งห้องเพื่อฉลองวันเกิด โรงแรมก็จัดห้องให้สวยงามและยังมอบเค้กวันเกิดกับไวน์แดงให้ด้วย ความรู้สึกแย่ๆ หายไปทันที ขอบคุณมากๆ ค่ะ 🙏 พักที่โรงแรมสองวันไม่ได้ออกไปไหนเลย ถ่ายรูปอยู่ในโรงแรมตลอด โรงแรมนี้ดัดแปลงมาจากโรงงานน้ำตาลเก่าที่ล้อมรอบด้วยภูเขาและหันหน้าเข้าหาแม่น้ำหลีเจียง ยังคงรักษาความเป็นอาคารอุตสาหกรรมเก่าแก่ไว้ แต่ก็ผสมผสานความงามตามธรรมชาติของทิวทัศน์คาสต์ และยังได้รับรางวัลการออกแบบมากมายอีกด้วย การออกแบบโรงแรมมีเอกลักษณ์มาก ทุกมุมสวยงามน่าถ่ายรูป อากาศก็ดี รูปที่ได้ออกมาสวยมากค่ะ ทานอาหารกลางวันที่ห้องอาหารของโรงแรมสองมื้อ รสชาติก็ดีค่ะ 👌 มีผลไม้ต้อนรับ เครื่องดื่มในตู้เย็นก็ฟรี ดื่มได้ไม่อั้น ส่วนเรื่องบริการไม่ต้องพูดถึงเลยค่ะ การบริการที่ใส่ใจในทุกรายละเอียด คาดการณ์ความต้องการของลูกค้าล่วงหน้า และคุณภาพที่ซ่อนอยู่ในการมองไม่เห็น ทำให้ลูกค้ารู้สึกว่าไม่ได้รับการบริการ แต่ได้รับการดูแลและเข้าใจอย่างดี

ก่อนเช็คอิน โรงแรมติดต่อมาถามว่าต้องการเลือกห้องพักแบบวิวแบบไหน เจ้าหน้าที่โรงแรมช่วยเลือกห้องพักวิวภูเขาชิงซิ่วให้ฉัน หลังจากเช็คอินเสร็จก็สวยงามมากจริงๆ ขอบคุณเจ้าหน้าที่คนนั้น (ฉันลืมถามชื่อนามสกุลของคุณ) ห้องพักกว้างมาก มีหน้าต่างบานใหญ่จากพื้นจรดเพดาน 270 องศา ห้องน้ำมีแดดส่องถึงและสวยงาม เมฆขาวสวยงาม พระอาทิตย์ตกก็สวยงาม ตอนเย็น ฉันได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเย็บดอกไฮเดรนเยียที่โรงแรม และได้รับแพ็คเกจวัสดุจากดอกไฮเดรนเยีย ซึ่งน่าจดจำมาก ขนมหวานลูกชิ้นเผือกนมก็ได้รับในตอนค่ำ ซึ่งอร่อยมาก และยังได้รับป้ายติดกระเป๋าสัมภาระเล็กๆ ด้วย

บรรยากาศดีมากครับ/ค่ะ จากในห้องสามารถนั่งชิลล์ชมวิวภูเขาได้เลย ทำเลก็ดีเยี่ยมครับ/ค่ะ อยู่ในย่านสิบหลี่ฮวากรั่ง ไปไหนมาไหนสะดวกมาก พนักงานโรงแรมทั้งพี่ผู้ชายและพี่ผู้หญิงบริการดีมากครับ/ค่ะ เป็นกันเองสุดๆ แทบจะเรียกได้ว่าขออะไรก็ได้หมดเลยครับ/ค่ะ แถมยังแนะนำและบอกรายละเอียดการเดินทางให้ด้วย ทุกวันมีアフタヌーンティー (afternoon tea) และของหวานส่งตรงถึงห้องเลยครับ/ค่ะ สดใหม่และอร่อยมาก อาหารของโรงแรมก็อร่อยครับ/ค่ะ เล่นมาทั้งวันเหนื่อยๆ กลับมาก็สั่งอาหารมาส่งที่ห้องได้เลย รสชาติดีเยี่ยมมากครับ/ค่ะ จะแนะนำเพื่อนๆ อย่างแรงเลยครับ/ค่ะ ถ้าไปเที่ยวอีกก็จะเลือกโรงแรม Shihe Yuanfang นี่แหละครับ/ค่ะ

ฉันเป็นนักท่องเที่ยวจากเซี่ยงไฮ้ วันนี้ฉันมาถึงเซินเจิ้นฝูเถียนและเข้าพักที่ City Inn Hotel ราคาประมาณ 700 หยวน ทำเลดีมาก สะดวกสบายสุดๆ ติดกับสถานีรถไฟใต้ดินเลย 🚇 รอบๆ มีห้างสรรพสินค้าใหญ่ๆ เพียบ หาของกินง่ายมาก โรงแรมยังมีบริการชายามบ่าย พนักงานทุกคนบริการดีเยี่ยม คอยถามว่าเราต้องการอะไรไหม? อบอุ่นใจจริงๆ นอกจากนี้ยังมีบริการซักรีด เสื้อผ้าสกปรกที่ใส่มาหลายวันก่อน พอให้พนักงานไป ตอนเย็นก็ได้เสื้อผ้าที่ซักแห้งอุ่นๆ กลับมา ใส่ได้เลยในวันรุ่งขึ้น ตอนกลางคืนประมาณ 21.00-22.00 น. ยังมีบริการอาหารค่ำ มีเส้นก๋วยเตี๋ยวให้เลือกหลายแบบ และผลไม้หลากหลายชนิด คุ้มค่าเงินมากๆ ที่สำคัญรวมอาหารเช้าสำหรับ 2 ท่านด้วย ห้องพักกว้างขวางมาก ห้องน้ำก็แยกส่วนกัน ครั้งหน้าจะจองโรงแรมนี้อีกแน่นอน 👍👍👍
