El hotel es hermoso y bien ubicado, a nuestra habitación le faltaba bastante mantenimiento en el baño. Las camas y demás instalaciones son muy buenas al igual que el desayuno.

Hotel was a bit old compared to to other JW hotel that I have been, I expected more from what I pay, breakfast was excellent with good service. Hotel room interior was a bit old the staff arranged to a open window unit however the window view is the interior of the hotel lobby which I can see people walking by 😅

We had an amazing 3-day stay at Emiliano Rio as a couple, and it turned out to be a truly special experience. We stayed in the Ocean Suite, and the view over Copacabana is simply breathtaking. Waking up and having breakfast served with that view is something you don’t forget. The suite itself feels more like a luxury apartment — spacious, beautifully designed, with details like built-in ceiling speakers, a double shower for couples, and a very relaxing bathtub setup. The service is outstanding. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly, and proactive — communication via WhatsApp makes everything fast and convenient. The butler team was especially helpful in organizing a very important personal moment for us, assisting with logistics like car arrangements and special preparations. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. We also enjoyed the rooftop and the spa — both are beautiful and perfectly complement the overall experience. The massage was excellent and very relaxing. This is definitely a luxury hotel, so it’s important to understand that many services are premium and priced accordingly. However, the level of comfort, attention, and atmosphere fully justifies it. Highly recommended for couples looking for a special and memorable stay. We left extremely happy — and with unforgettable memories.

This hotel is a great stay in Barra. Like a lot of hotels in Rio, this one is old. The place has some relics of the last century: the phone is old, the furniture is old, etc. However, it makes up for it in other ways. The service is excellent at this property. The breakfast is very good, the room service is great and cheap, and all of the staff from doormen to bellhops to reception are attentive and professional. The breakfast attendants are more professional than most local waiters. You will get excellent service here. The hotel is also very pretty despite its age. The hallways and lobby are large, and it looks premium. The location is incredible if you like Barra. We only stayed one night, but we had a decent side view of the ocean from our room, and we easily had enough time for a nice walk on the beach before check-out. Windsor Barra Hotel is a great value; stay here if you value service and excellent access to Barra’s beach.

Staying at Miramar by Windsor Copacabana was honestly one of the best parts of my trip to Rio. The location couldn’t be better — right on Copacabana Beach, so I could just walk out and feel the energy of the city. The staff were all so kind and helpful, it really made me feel at home. And that view from the rooftop? Just amazing. I’ll never forget watching the sunset from up there.

The hotel is very well equipped and maintained. The rooms are clean, comfortable and house-keeping did an amazing job every day! All stuff in the hotel were always helpful and professional and able to help. Check the location on google maps: The hotel is about 45 minutes (by car) away from attractions like Copacabana or Ipanema. If this is no problem for you, and you prefer to stay in a modern hotel a little away from the tourist masses, then this for you!

This was my fifth time at this hotel . Both my husband and I always enjoy staying here ! The best - as good as the amazing views of the beach - are the staff .  It is incredible that most servers , check in people , luggage bellmen remember us ! They are all so kind , efficient and friendly that they make us feel part of their family !  Can’t find words to describe how much we enjoy staying at the PortoBay , Copacabana !
