A midweek escape that felt like a full reset. Spent three serene weekdays here for a little urban escape—and it delivered far more than expected. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained. While the view included a few rooftop obstructions, the sunrise still managed to steal the show every morning—worth waking up early for. Breakfast buffet? A standout. The spread changed daily, and we fell in love with a warm, comforting cassava porridge (still kicking myself for not catching its Portuguese name). It’s the kind of dish that lingers in memory long after checkout. But the real gem? The gym. Spacious, well-equipped with a wide range of machines, and welcoming trainers who truly know their stuff. Mornings can be a little busy, but midday and evening workouts were a dream—calm, clean, and just what the body needed. If you’re seeking a quiet yet revitalizing stay with real substance behind the amenities, this place gets my stamp of approval. Would absolutely return—and recommend in a heartbeat.

This is a beautiful and grand hotel in Salvador. As well as having lovely spaces inside and out, the breakfast was also very good with plenty of variety to choose from. It is conveniently located very close to amenities such as parks and shops. It is also within easy walking distance of the historical centre of Salvador, Pelourinho (very impressive). Above all though, it was the hotel's staff that made the biggest impression on me. From the staff working at reception, in the restaurant, on the door and cleaning staff - we found them all to be very helpful and friendly. One staff member, Rafael, who works on reception, particularly stood out in my mind. He was the person who initially welcomed us into the hotel and was extremely helpful all the way throughout our stay. He went out of his way to help us, nothing was too much bother and it was all still done with a smile! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Resort se diz 5 estrelas, porém o serviço é de 1 estrela. Por ser um resort 5 estrelas, o que se espera é que o atendimento esteja à altura, porém a realidade é que para pegar bebidas nos bares e ao redor da piscina as vezes é necessário enfrentar filas nos balcões, se fosse 5 estrelas teriam garçons atendendo em volta da piscina. Na praia o serviço é pior ainda, há somente um pequeno bar no qual não é feito drinks e o chopp oferecido é itaipava e caso queira beber uma cerveja na areia você terá que andar para ir até o bar para conseguir uma cerveja por vez, pois o ”hotel” não fornece baldes com gelo para por as bebidas. Se diz all inclusive, porém se você for no bar e solicitar uma garrafa de qualquer bebida que não seja cerveja, você não receberá, pois segundo eles, é perigoso andar com garrafas por ai, ou seja, voltei a ter 4 anos e não posso ter uma garrafa em mãos. Solicitei uma garrafa de gin para tomar no quarto, pois não estava no clima pra ficar no bar pegando doses, a supervisora em questão me negou a garrafa e diz que eles não fornecem a garrafa, sendo assim, é all inclusive somente na teoria. Zero carisma e vontade de trabalhar por grande parte dos funcionários, é até entendível tendo em vista que o funcionário está acumulando cargos tendo que atender 30 pessoas ao mesmo tempo.
