Hotel Polonia Palace is a historical Warsaw hotel, dating back to 1913. Therefore, it is quite a beautiful structure. The location is in the very center of Warsaw, at the intersection of the two main streets. Also very close to the main train station and a subway station. The downside of the location is that it’s a very ugly area. Across the street is the Palace of Culture, is a Stalinist monstrosity which should be really torn down as soon as possible, paving way for the reconstruction of the pre-WWII center of Warsaw. The services offered by the hotel are generally very good. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The only downside is internet, which works in a less than ideal manner. Also very good value for money.
I stayed at this hotel for an overnight transfer flight from Warsaw to Stockholm. For 500HKD a night, this hotel subverted my expectations, it feels as if I am staying in a high quality 5 star hotel. Room was spacious and clean, I can even get a view of Warsaw from my room. Would consider stay in this hotel again if I am going to Warsaw in the future.
Located a bit off from city center, but in a nice and calm area of the city. The hotel has this grand hotel vibe, but at the same time still not dated.
Breakfast selection could be better and so the ventillation in the breakfast area.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe room was clean and fun. Location great. However the shower was cold on 3 out of 4 occasions and what upset me the most was when I told the hotel this they replied with a sad face emoji rather than apologise!
