"My visit was brief, just overnight, and despite paying for breakfast, I couldn't partake in it due to an early train departure. The hotel, while dated, was well-maintained; the older furnishings added a homey and cozy touch. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and with birds serenading outside my window, I enjoyed a tranquil sleep. Conveniently, the train station was a mere 15-minute walk away, aligning perfectly with my travel plans. The vicinity of the hotel boasted restaurants, salons, and various services. A combination of safety, affordability, and comfort made for a pleasant stay."
The person at check-in was friendly and explained everything to us, even offering us NYE paraphernalia. However, the cleanliness of the room was pretty poor. The shower room appeared to have black mould low down as well as on the wall. The room was a good size though, with two single beds, a bunk bed and a table with chairs. There was a mini fridge, kettle and microwave. However, the microwave was also not clean.
