My sisters and I spent one night at the Perry lane hotel and had a fabulous time. The room was perfect and the hotel restaurant was excellent! I would highly recommend! The rooftop bar and pool area is a great place to relax any time of the day. They have a man who plays the piano in the library and he is wonderful.

Our stay was very comfortable, the hotel is absolutely beautiful! The service was ok, as some of the staff were not very welcoming. Those standing at the door (the first face visitors see) stand in a staunch, serious manner, and do not even offer a greeting, smile, nod, nothing. You are not even acknowledged. I guess it depends on who you are. The front desk workers were always pleasant and attended to questions/ requests with a smile. My family and I enjoyed the food at the Nest restaurant, as we ate there several times during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed Signia by Hilton. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was being made to feel that we were not welcomed.

This trip was booked to celebrate a birthday for my niece. The customer service was excellent as all of the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the problem was with the spa service, one of the restaurants (Linger Longer), and construction on the site. My nieces messuage was below average and when asked how her spa service was, she explain that the service she received was below average at best and she was not satisfied. She was compensated by the team that was checking us out at the Spa with half off the service. However, she did not receive the message that she was expecting and was disappointed as this was for her birthday. The second issue was with our dinner at the Linger Longer restaurant. Our appetizer was deliver to us very cold. We informed our server and she apologized and brought us back another appetizer only a couple of minutes before our main course arrived, and the replaced appetizer was only slightly better than the first one they brought out. The main courses consisted for my niece had to be sent back because it tasted sour as if the fish was not fresh. She is not a person that complains much, but the food and the messuage were disappointing, and put a slight damper on her birthday. The last issue was all the construction going on next to where our room was located on the lake view. Because of the construction noise during the day and early morning, it disrupted the piece in that room. I explained this to the front desk and she was very polite and asked if extending our stay for an additional hour would be helpful since we had experienced a few issues with our stay. At this point we had already checked out, so staying an additional hour in the room would not be much of a help, as well as the construction going on. There were good and bad with this stay, as I have explained the problems. However, the lake and the amenities were superb and the courteous staff was fantastic and that helped things from being a failed birthday celebration for my niece.
