ผผู้เข้าพักThis is by far the best hostel I stayed at, in spite of the number of occupants. I was lucky to have very quiet boys in the room. There’s only one bathroom, connected to the room, but it worked.
The hostel is new, modern and spotless.
The owner is very friendly.
The hostel is also 5 minutes walk from the beach.
It was perfect.
It’s a long walk to Albufeira from the city buses, and not very clear where the FlixBus stops. I wouldn’t recommend walking from the train station, which took me 4 hours. There’s a local bus, don’t scrimp = TAKE IT. Or take an Uber, or Bolt. Or ask the taxi what he wants to charge from the bus stop at the train station !
The RedeExpress is where the bus station is (but not for the FlixBus).
In summary, you can go to Albufeira by FlixBus, but it’s difficult to know where FlixBus leaves Albufeira from.
That all said, Albufeira is very difficult in high season, TOO CROWDED, but the Portuguese are tolerant and very patient because they know that tourism is lucrative and has raised the whole country out of poverty. Residents enjoy cheap and / or free public transport on local buses (cheap monthly passes).
Residents are respectful and kind.
You can practice your Portuguese with them for a laugh, but they all speak English to varying degrees.
Here you can meet real residents. On the beach, not necessarily in the pubs.
I loved it here. Don’t miss it.

EEviMitaleIn the heart of Lagos' old town, this hostel offers a peaceful retreat just steps away from vibrant restaurants, shops, and the Praia da Batata. The check-in process is seamless, with staff providing a thorough introduction to the facilities. While the atmosphere is quiet and unaffected by nearby nightlife, you are perfectly positioned to explore the stunning coastal cliffs and Ponta da Piedade.
The clean dormitories feature comfortable beds equipped with individual lamps and power sockets, and although lockers carry a €1 daily fee, fresh towels and bedsheets are provided for free. Guests have access to a well-stocked kitchen—complete with modern hotplates and a variety of cookware—which opens onto a small inner courtyard perfect for dining or socializing. Overall, the service and functional amenities make it a top-value choice for a budget-friendly stay in the Algarve.

ผผู้เข้าพักMy single room was not ready before check-in time, but that was fine. Of course, the room had to be cleaned first. However, in this case, I would have preferred a clean, functional room. The bath was dirty and had old marks on it, and water was leaking from the shower and tap. Consequently, the bathroom was flooded every time I took a shower. The towels smelt funny. The bedroom itself was clean, but the light was flickering.
On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and the outside terrace was beautiful.

Апартаменты небольшие, но достаточно уютные. Самый главный + для меня это наличие стиральной машины, которая к тому же хорошо сушит одежду. Расположение хорошее, есть вся посуда и все что необходимо для готовки, подушки, плед, утюг, фен
Минусы:
- чтобы получить ключи нужно ехать на другой адрес и об этом нигде не указано! Я потратила около часа пытаясь дозвониться до них чтобы узнать на каком адресе находится их офис, это ужас! Хотя ребята в офисе очень милые, дозвониться/дописаться это отдельный квест!
- сильно пахнет сыростью и черной плесенью, более чем на 2 ночи я бы не осталась только из за угрозы здоровью
- это первый этаж, а окна без решеток! Поэтому когда уже невыносимо дышать черной плесенью и хочешь открыть окно, получается так что любой мимо проходящий человек может залезть к тебе в окно!

ผผู้เข้าพักOur room is just right next to road, noisy and smoky. But the receptionist is a nice lady, no place to hang laundry is very inconvenient too. As a hostel, it should have this basic facilities. Thought there is jagguzi and steam bath, no one is interested in them. Cooking facility is OK, stove and pots is available. Shower room not good as it is mix gender and too few toilet to use. Will stay somewhere else. The boss Tommy is speaking good English and warm personally. Plus point but very rare in the hostel.

The room got AC which was great and the place was clean as well. The breakfast was really delicious. I would definitely recommend the hostel if anyone staying in Tavira

ผผู้เข้าพักThis was the worst hotel. The room had mold in the closet which made the room smell horrible. Our eyes were burning and we had to sleep with the windows open. Sheets were dirty, probably mold. The walls were extremely thin and we could hear people talking and moving around. There was feces on the floor in the bathroom near the lobby. When we complained about the mold the receptionist just thanked us for letting her know.

ผผู้เข้าพักThis was such a beautiful stay. All the staff there were so lovely and accomodating. When arrived we were told we had a room upgrade which was amazing, we also had a bus which didn’t leave until later and the staff were lovely enough to let us leave our bags and hang around until we needed to go. The pool is area is beautiful and so spacious, there is also an amazing restaurant next door.
