The counter was very kind and polite. She helped me to check in smoothly and explained that all I had to for check out is just dropping the key into the key box.
The location I tink was pretty good. Surrounded by bars and restaurants within walkable distance. Most importantly the family mart is round the corner, stocking supplies is a breeze.
The room is pretty big, it had toilet room and shower room. There is a balcony for me to dry up clothes and there is a washing machine too. Bed is Abit softer for myself. Fridge, microwave, electric cooker, water boiler all ready anytime. The aircon cold, lighting bright enough. They have a lift for easy access. The security was great, after 12mn to 3pm the front door has auto lock. Using our room key to access only. The people around the neighborhood are very friendly. The place is nice and quiet. Room service is upon request.
I had a enjoyed the stay. Worth coming back again
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อFree parking, with a farmers market 2 mins walk away (literally across the street). Room was spacious, everything you need is basically provided/available. Believe the hotel was originally a local residential building that has been converted, but really no concerns. Would surely recommend.
CCEL_LGreat experience in Miyakojima!
Location: The hotel is located in the center of the city, which is super convenient as a starting point to anywhere of the island: from here, the taxi to any direction is within 30 minutes at a cost of less than 3,000 yen. There is a FamilyMart across the road and you can get anything needed easily. And there are a lot of good dining places in the neighborhood. I made no reservation to any restaurant but just take a short walk randomly to the nearby restaurant every day and always find delicious food (there is one Japanese-style wagyu BBQ across the street which is super good!).
Room: The room is cozy and spacious. You won’t feel it too narrow to open your suitcase as hotels in Japan elsewhere. The bed is comfortable.
Facilities: There is a microwave in each floor, which is useful especially you need to leave early in the morning and have no time for breakfast. And there are also washing machines and dryers on the 1st floor, which is a must-have if you have activities in the sea.
If there is any improvement I must say, that is the light in the room is too dim and it is not easy to do makeups.
ผผู้เข้าพักVery clean and well organised. The guest house is kept spotless and has all that you may need. From the rooms which are very well organised and each person has his unique space kind of like a small room to himself, to the temperature of the aircon, which too often is kept very low, whereas here it is kept cool but not freezing. The service is very good, there is always someone in reception from 7AM to 11PM and they are always ready to help. Toilets are super clean and well kept, and you are given 2 towels daily for you to use. Also, if you stay more than 5 nights, you get a new set of bedsheets to use (you have to change them on your own).
The kitchen is very well equipped and if you want to cook, they have all the necessary tools. Also, the common room is very well displayed, it is cosy and a nice space to socialize. An additional room to hang to dry wet clothes is outside of the back entry and can be very handy after a day at the seaside.
Overall, one of the best guesthouses I have been in during my trip in Japan.
TTezpezMy boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Ocean Resort PMC. The location is convenient if you have diving plans, with the diving drop-off point right next to the hotel. There's also a surf and diving shop and school below where you can ask about lessons and equipment. Although we had already booked our diving elsewhere, it was just an 8-minute drive away, and they even drove us back to the hotel, which was a bit amusing.
Overall, the stay was fair, but there are a few things to note. After 11 AM, the elevator is not available, and the parking lot is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, there's a 24/7 convenience store just across the street, which is very handy. The ground floor has a washing machine that all guests can use. After 11 PM, you have to use the stairs, which can be a bit scary as there's no light. The hotel has a kitchen, but it lacks basic utensils.
For the price, I felt like I could have picked somewhere better, but the location and amenities were decent enough for our needs.
