Lovely stay in a charming, 3-storey historic guesthouse that reflects the spirit of Husavik. Comfortable private rooms with in-room amenities like ear plugs, pitcher, hot water kettle+mugs, salt+pepper and little treats, sufficient renovated shared shower WCs, plus homely touches like a fridge for guest use, hot beverage counter and free hot coffee, fruits and biscuits in the morning. Friendly and meticulous host who strives to give a peaceful and memorable stay for all guests: we take off shoes at the main entrance to minimise noise and keep the floor clean, and bathmats were supplied to keep showers dry for the next guest use. Yes, the hot geothermal shower water has a sulphuric smell but it adds character to the stay! Tip: have lunch or dinner at Naustid, the seafood restaurant opposite, and check out the bubbling stream beside the house!

ภรรยาของฉันและฉันจองห้องคู่ในโรงแรมนี้ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยห้องขนาดใหญ่และประตูห้องถูกล็อคด้วยระบบอิเล็กทรอนิกส์แล้ว! ชั้น 1 เป็นร้านอาหาร เช็คอินที่เคาน์เตอร์ร้านอาหารด้วย เช็คอินมีเครื่องดื่มฟรีจากร้านอาหาร ห้องครัวมีไมโครเวฟและกาต้มน้ําแบบง่ายๆ ให้ใช้ ห้องน้ําอยู่ชั้นใต้ดิน จะต้องผ่านร้านอาหารชั้น 1 รู้สึกแปลกๆ หน่อย และผู้ชายยังอาจเดินผิดเข้าห้องน้ําของผู้หญิง ส่วนนี้แปลกไปหน่อยในการออกแบบห้อง มีบาร์อยู่ด้านหลังโรงแรมซึ่งจะมีเสียงดังมากก่อนปิดตอนกลางคืน แม้ว่าหน้าต่างเก็บเสียงจะปิด ก็ยังค่อนข้างดัง และบัฟเฟอร์โค้งประตูของประตูร้านอาหารที่ชั้น 1 ของโรงแรมไม่เพียงพอ และปิดประตูจะส่งผลต่อชั้นบน!

My first time at a capsule anything tbh, and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. The couple running this establishment have created a unique atmosphere, such comfort, and a feeling of joy to get back to home away from home. I'm now in love with the capsule concept, kudos to Japan, and this amazing Icelandic couple. Thank you for a great stay, hope to see you in Portugal ;)

Hotel is located on a mountain and you get a great view of akureryi city and the mountain view. Conveniently located with nearby supermarkets and restaurants.

Solid guesthouse with a good breakfast. The journey there felt epic, as we were greeted by wild horses. The room was small but sufficient for one night. Some guests were unfortunately inconsiderate in the shared area, particularly regarding cleanliness, noise levels and unpleasant smell. The staff was friendly and attentive. Use of the hot tubs would have been free of charge.

Das Guesthouse liegt an einer Schotterstraße und besteht aus mehreren kleinen Häusern mit sauberen, gut eingerichteten Zimmern. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Einziger Nachteil: Die Schallisolierung ist sehr schwach. Man hört Gespräche, Schnarchen und frühe Aufstehgeräusche fast so, als wäre man dabei. Insgesamt ein solider Aufenthalt – mit Ohrstöpseln deutlich angenehmer.
