The Wenatchee Red Lion was an excellent budget choice. While a bit old, everything worked and the staff was very helpful and polite. The trains were a bit noisy at night, as ther train tracks are right behind the hotel. The pool and hot tub were both open and fairly well maintained. Breakfast was a decent buffet.
Hotel is Conveniently located near Line 1 - U District Station , only about 6 minutes walk to hotel from train station. We took Line 1 from airport to U District station.
Hotel room is clean , spacious and nice and fits 2 queen size beds. Beds are also comfortable. There is also complementary breakfast . Safeway supermarket and eateries are all nearby . Easy to take Line 1 to do sightseeing .
We planned our stay at Cedars Inn so our grandchildren could swim in the pool. On our last visit the pool's heater was not working so the pool was unusable. I called ahead to make sure the pool was working. The pool was warmer than last time but it was very cool and the children's teeth were chattering unless they were in constant motion. The bathroom by the pool was out or order - very inconvenient, especially with small children in out party. The afternoon popcorn. listed as an amenity, was not available because ”there were not enough customers at the hotel so precious days' popcorn had to be thrown out.” The breakfast was good; the warm cookies were nice; the front desk was attendant was adequate.
The Hotel was in a very good location, there are lots of restaurants and shops around in a walking distance.
The room was neat and bed was comfortable. You can ask for one-time slippers if you needed them otherwise they won't provide in the room.
Most restful night we’ve had in a while. The staff is really nice, especially Angel who welcomed us and allowed us to check in early after a very long drive. He was very sweet and made everything easier. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are great. We love the 🕊️ products in the bathroom. They allowed us to check out at 2pm which is amazing. We arrived hours late for breakfast but the lady at the reception still gave us milk and cornflakes, so cute! Parking is free. Coffee and tea is free 24/7. So 10/10 overall.

I booked this hotel for just a sleep over the night as the layover time was too long. So location and the shuttle bus were very important. However, The airport shuttle was a bit inconvenient. There was no attention and services to accommodate the guests’s departure. There were too many people who had to get on the shuttle and the shuttle was not almost unable to accommodate us all. Some had to sit on the floor and squeeze in between seats. It would have been convenient if the staff checked the departure time/need of the shuttles when the guests checked in so that they could have been arranged the shuttles sufficiently and efficiently.
great hotel would stay here again and again and again and again

ผผู้เข้าพักDiscovered this spot on a website about hot springs in the state of OR while trying to figure out where to spend NYE by myself as a single woman in need of some R&R. Booked through a third party site to get a tiny discount, but a tad nervous about what it might be like because the pictures didn't quite do it justice. Showed up with low expectations and had my mind blown! Room and bed were ultra comfy! I got a room with a private balcony and personal hot tub on it — so amazing! No chlorine in the personal hot tub and all fresh mineral water. At night, while sitting in one corner of it, I could barely even tell that I got one of the cheaper room options of this kind that faced the parking lot ;) During the day... obviously I could see the dang parking lot, but whatever, next time I'll pay more for a forest facing room. The communal hot springs and mineral pool + sauna & cold plunge were AMAZING. I went after 8pm (adult hours 8-10pm) to avoid children. One couple unfortunately thought it was appropriate to blatantly ignore the huge sign at the door and allow their 8 or 9 year old son into the outdoor hot spring, but I just ignored them because ain't nobody got time to police other people's poor choices on a holiday that I was trying to relax. I had at least 20 mins of the big mineral pool all to myself so I swam & even got the sauna to myself at one point for about 15 mins! Cheeseburger and cocktails at the bar were AMAZING. The bartender was so kind. Burger exceeded my expectations — I'll go back for a proper meal after 5pm next time (I got there too early, starving, so missed fancy dinner). Free bites and a champagne taste in the lounge with live music for the holiday was a TREAT. And especially loved the free sparkling apple juice in my room to ring in the new year solo. Hiked on the property after dinner — GORGEOUS. I'll be back for spa treatments next time too! Booked too last minute and couldn't get a massage in, sadly. Slept like a baby. My only complaint is the room was so bland — no art on the walls! And as mentioned, the photos on the website I booked the room through didn't do it justice either! Additionally, no one answered the phone when I called trying to book, which was frustrating, and they didn't even have a voicemail or anything set up to figure out calling back later. Nonetheless, if y'all need art — I've got a ton to hang & accept commissions! Would 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 to help promote this amazing place & be a bigger part of it in the future!!
PParkerWHotel is located right downtown - right across from the Seattle Public Library, and about only 15 minute walk to Pike Place. The building is definitely on the older side/a bit dated inside - but with that being said everything seemed clean and there was no smell of mold or smoke. The staff that we interacted with were fairly friendly - if you are tech able, they do request that you check-in and check-out on the kiosks that they have (honest fairly easy system).
We received 2 bottles of water in the room, which we found to be a nice touch. Our room did have a bit of a cleanliness issue (like other reviews have stated) in terms that we found hair behind the bathroom door, and the comforter-between-sheet did have some fairly long strands of hair (*************************) that either were from improper cleaning or could have been from static when cleaning (giving the benefit of the doubt). Our shower head was semi-broken and sprayed water on the ceiling (which they offered to have maintenance fix, but we were only there for one more night so didn't bother) and our bathroom door did not close (forgot to mention to staff).
Overall for the price it is good, but do not go in with expectation of full-service hotel - as they do state that it would be an additional charge for housecleaning (except if you are staying for more than 7 days, then I believe then you get a complementary service). But with that being said, if you require garbage disposal, any hotel sundries, or additional towels then you can request them.
FFay23Wrote a review directly to the hotel so will keep this shorter.
Check in clerk was amazing.. but
Husband stuck in elevator for 20 minutes no one helped until I climbed down from the 5th floor to the lobby with my baby and my pregnant stomach. Responded to pretty rudely by other person at front desk
Beautiful hotel and location is amazing
Room was a little on the dirtier on the other side
Small fruit flies flying in the sink , pillows were dirty some lights didn't work
Didn't really care about those things until was told hotel denied this elevator incident happening.
Conflicted if I would ever stay here again.
Contacted trip.com and even though it is not their fault they still provided comfort and support but the hotel denied this even happened ??? So leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Expected something different from a nicer hotel like this
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อThere were other cheaper hotels I could have chosen but this one had free breakfast on Christmas morning so that was what got my attention.
When I arrived at my room, it was very cold. The fan was set for AC. And on Christmas Eve, we didn't need cold air.
This was the first domino that made a series of unfortunate events:
I tried to set the fan to heat but it looks like it is set only for AC or fan (blowing cold air). We were just too tired to call the front desk to request a different room. My girlfriend then took a shower with super hot water. She didn't turn on the fan in the bathroom or close the door as she wanted our room to heat up. The vapor got soooooo thick in the room that it set off the fire alarm.
I jumped on the bed looking for the reset button but I cut my finger in the process. There was no silence or reset button.
I called the office right away when the alarm turned off and explained the situation.
I feel sorry for the few guests that stayed that night.
The hotel is in excellent condition, one of the best maintained in Yakima.
I just wanted to add that we people do goofy things and what we did was goofy. I know we would not have set the alarm off if the air fan could be arranged from AC to hot air given that it is December and we don't need AC in the room, just a thought.
