Centennial Hotel Spokane

The room we received was not the room that was featured in the pictures. The ventilation in the room was little to none and the temperature in the room never got below 75 degrees regardless of setting the thermostat lower for multiple days, otherwise a fairly enjoyable stay.

We LOVED our room and the location. Our chocolate lab was with us and the room had a slider out to the grass area for pets. Riverfront park is right across the street. The room was beautiful and clean and spacious. We will definitely stay here again

What I liked about this property was how convenient it was to the surrounding area. We walked to all the hot spots without having to look for somewhere to go. What I didn’t like was they messed up my reservation and didn’t inform me until we went into our room. We got a deluxe king with balcony but when we got to our room it was two queens. When I asked the front desk they just said sorry there was a maintenance issue. They didn’t do anything to fix it other than give me free breakfast but it was their choice of breakfast. Drinks were plain and food was limited.

Very uncomfortable mattress broken down! It was a good quality but too old and worn out!! Needed replaced! If stay again will check mattress before staying in the room!

Online this hotel appears to be really nice. We were most excited about the pool, which did meet our expectations. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel was a let down. I booked a 2 queen bed room, but I'm not convinced queen beds are what we received. They were just as small as my daughters full size mattress at home, which isn't ideal for two adults to share. My daughter couldn't get half of the plug-ins in our room to work. Our TV and refrigerator weren't even plugged in. Granted it didn't take much for us to figure that out and correct the issue (just had to move a very heavy entertainment center), but I feel like for the price this isn't something the guest should need to worry about. With all that said, I still was ok with the room. I've stayed in worse, right? But to top it all off, not one, but both of the elevators were broke down. The worst part, the one elevator broke down with myself stuck inside. I was ringing the alarm and no one seemed to notice. I then called down to the front desk and explained I was stuck in the elevator on the top floor. I was in there for about 15 minutes before they finally got someone up there to open the doors. I barely received an apology. This wasn't a cheap hotel, so I'm disappointed in paying the money when I know the Davenport Grand costs the same to stay, and has given us much nicer experiences in the past. Probably won't book here again.

I didn’t get the room I requested because I didn’t ask for it correctly. The receptionist gave us a better room but was oind of rude about it.

I love the helpful front desk staff. Bryan was wonderful. The beds are really comfortable. Restaurant onsite. A great place to stay. My 4th time staying here.

Wonderful stay! Nice upgrade to a room with a river view! Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Transportation between Davenport hotels was a welcome perk.

The centennial hotel is an absolute delight. It has almost everything to make it perfect. The rooms are elegant spacious and comfortable and the beds are like sleeping in a soft cloud. They're easy to get to parking is exceptional you feel safe because it's a locked in parking garage. Front desk clerk Bryan Smith greeted us very nicely and made us feel welcome. We travel with service dogs and he was very welcoming to them as well. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool with a waterfall feature and there's also above all else my favorite the centennial walking trail which goes into a park right behind the hotel where there's even a Vietnam War memorial. This park is just gorgeous sitting over top of a river that flows totally around it. You have to see it to believe it. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant it was good and not overly priced. The best thing I can say about this place is it's quiet. I didn't hear a thing all night and that's unusual when you're on a second floor and you have 15 floors above you
