"Lovely hotel, it is very old so there are bound to be some faults but really enjoyed my stay. The room was lovely and spacious with hospitality tray,hair dryer, iron, ironing board plus toiletries.
Location was excellent right in the middle of the city, short walk to everything and bus station a 5min walk. Will definitely stay here again."

We enjoyed our stay at the Crabwall Manor Hotel and Spa. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming especially at reception.
Our room was very suitable for a person with disabilities being on the floor and having a walk-in shower.
We look forward to returning next year.

Breakfast was good with a fair choice on the buffet. We had a bar meal which was a good standard, burger and fish and chips, with s good selection of drinks.
We did have a problem with the room we were given due to traffic noise, being too hot and it was a disabled bathroom which meant the sink was too low for us.
A big thank you to reception staff Carolin and her colleague who gladly managed to get us moved into another quieter room with aircon it was much appreciated. All the staff on reception in the bar and breakfast room were excellent.
The hotel on the canalside is only a few minutes away from the city centre and many restaurants and bars.

For a normal size breakfast you had to pay extra, the heating was broken in the spa so it was quite cold. The hotel did look a bit tatty in places. Service was lacking, always had to chase the staff members. Lovely building and good location.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, and our choice was primarily due to its convenient location and excellent breakfast. It is very close to the airport and very quiet at night, surrounded by farms and grassland.
We love the breakfast because it is not a typical buffet. Instead, you can choose from a menu with a great variety of options, all of which taste wonderful. The restaurant's decoration is also lovely, and you will be more than satisfied with the portions. The restaurant staff are passionate, friendly, and helpful.
One point to note is that the reception area often has guests around, which is just an observation and neither positive nor negative. The receptionists always do their best and are very nice and professional. However, the room design is a bit outdated.

First time taking grandson to Chester with an over night stay. First impression of Hotel including location was excellent and I have only one negative from our stay which was reported to reception on checking out. There is a big problem in the hotel with bedroom doors slamming shut noisily every time someone enters or leaves a room as they have no dampening which spoilt our evening and night in our room. The rest of the hotel was excellent with a good swimming pool and restaurant. The breakfast can only be described as superb with our grandson thoroughly enjoying it. The location including the car parking was ideal for walking round Chester City Centre with a 100 yd walk to the main streets and the Levels.
Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a City Break and would easily qualify for 5 stars if they could put some dampening device / closing spring on the bedroom doors.

I took my wife here for her 60th, amazing staff receptionist charlotte was warm and knowledgable, very kind giving us a token due to birthday.
The infinity pool is amazing warm clean, Shrigley would make much more money if they served drinks while in the pool, but we would still be there now.
The rooms are adiquate they are clean, the shower's are amazing, Dinning for evenning meal again was excellent, the service is 11/10 and I have been in a number of Spa the meal cost were really well priced with excellent food.
Breakfast in the morning self service again pleanty to choose from and again tasty with great choice.
It is a amazing spa with the ability toplay gold or have a number of treatments, and well priced, I will return there

ผู้เข้าพักThe location of the hotel is beautiful. Even if golf isn’t your thing, it’s lovely to be able to use “the permissive path” that runs from the doorstep of the hotel, through and around the golf course with a great view of Cheshire beyond.
The rooms were fine, but just a little dated (for my personal taste)
I wasn’t particularly impressed with the value of their “big breakfast” option that I paid £18 for. Although they did say it gave access to their continental breakfast, I had my dog with me so had to eat in the bar area. This meant I couldn’t then enter the restaurant to retrieve any of the continental breakfast.
Overall, I think it’s a good place to stay. There’s just a few things that I think could make it a great place.

Monday morning breakfast was great, nice welcoming and food was well stocked, imelda was friendly. And everything was well organised. Spa pool was too hot on the first day, 5minutes in there was unbearable.
