LLika DatuashviliIf you want a getaway from beijing heat, this place is really close and easy to get access to, stuff is really friendly and this place looks like a heaven. The whole stuff did their best to make my stay cery comfortable, offered some free cocktails, even took me back to the train station because I left very late. Views are amazing, in the evening it’s chill, overall , I had really amazing and relaxing 2 days at this place.
JJoe1992A Great Seaside Retreat at East beach Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe
My stay at the Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe was easily the highlight of my Beidaihe trip—this is truly a gem for travelers craving a cozy and convenient coastal getaway.
Let’s start with its unbeatable location, the biggest selling point. Just steps from the beach, I could walk to the shore in 5 minutes for morning sunrise or evening strolls, and it’s also close to popular spots like Pigeon Nest Park. The surrounding area is packed with dining options, from local seafood shacks to nice restaurants, so grabbing a fresh seafood meal or casual bite never required a long drive.
The rooms exceeded my expectations too. I booked a sea-view room, and the view didn’t disappoint—large windows let in plenty of sunlight, and I could hear the waves from my bed. The space was spacious and clean, with crisp, stain-free linens and a spotless bathroom that had no odd odors. The hotel also thoughtfully provided amenities like a minibar and free Wi-Fi, which added to the convenience.
What really stood out was the service. The front desk staff were warm and responsive—when I asked about nearby attractions, they gave detailed recommendations, and when my family needed a hand with luggage, someone came right away. They even had little extras like kids’ sand toys and strollers available, which would be a lifesaver for families traveling with young ones.
If I had to mention a small flaw, a few guests noted that some bathroom fixtures felt a bit worn, but this didn’t affect my stay at all. For anyone visiting Beidaihe and wanting to be close to the sea with great service, this hotel is a no-brainer. I’ll definitely book here again next time!
ผผู้เข้าพักWe travel with a dog and luckily found this location. The room was big and the see view from the balcony is very nice. The whole compound is pet friendly and has a lot of options to walk. The cost was only 5 minutes away and offeres many activities as well as nice places, coffees, restaurants and bakeries to sit, eat and relax. The hotel/apartment stuff was super friendly and helpful. Would come back any time!
ผผู้เข้าพักI stayed here for one night before go to Jinshanling Great wall in early morning. It took about 5 min walk to the entrance. The officer is friendly. He prepared dinner for us at belated night and offer the drive to the train station to Beijing. Very good experience. 👍
ผผู้เข้าพักThe lobby was fancy and clean, and the front desk staff were friendly, even though they didn't speak any English Check-in as a foreign was hassle-free. The breakfast buffet was typical Chinese hotel breakfast food, just normal, but lacking in fresh fruit. It's close enough to the Mountain Scenic area to walk. I have two complaints, though. I had a windowless room, and it smelled awful inside, and the ventilation fan didn't help get rid of the smell. Also, the shower door wouldn't close all the way, so it left a huge puddle on the bathroom floor every time I took a shower. It was uncomfortable taking a shower while trying to hold the door shut as much as possible, too. The room was clean, when I checked in, though, and cleaned daily. I could hear some noise from guests in other rooms, like loud talking and toilets flushing. It would definitely be better if I had gotten a room with windows, to help get that smell out. It's easy to walk along the river from this hotel's location, though.
