Clean, comfortable with nice view to the Indian Ocean. Very good gym with view to the ocean. Good massage service but very expensive. The breakfast was excellent. Good location in the city center, next to the USA embassy but very dark outside at night. Many restaurants around but the hotel has also excellent restaurants. The roof swimming pool has nice panoramic view but it was crowded.

The room itself was clean and the room service was decent, but all of that was completely ruined by the blatant discrimination from the lobby manager, Jimitation—I had originally decided to stay here a second time, but now I just feel utterly disgusted! In the early hours of the morning, I finished my trip and was the first to arrive at the front desk. I handed over my passport and waited to check in, only to be left standing there for a full five minutes. Jimitation ignored me the entire time, with no communication or response whatsoever. It wasn’t until white guests arrived to check in that he immediately put on a smile and served them first—no explanation, no reasonable excuse, just openly prioritizing others over me! When I took the initiative to ask when I could check in, he coldly replied, “You can’t check in now; you’ll have to come back in two hours,” his attitude arrogant and dismissive. This kind of differential treatment is not an oversight—it’s deep-seated discrimination! As a paying guest, I felt nothing but insult, disrespect, and profound humiliation. Jimitation’s behavior not only violates basic professional ethics but also tramples on the bottom line of equality between people! I will never choose this hotel that condones discrimination again, and I strongly advise everyone who values being treated equally to stay away—a place filled with discrimination is not worthy of being called a “service hotel” at all!

Our family of three checked into the hotel during the first week of May 2025. Unfortunately, our overall experience was underwhelming. Room service was disappointing, our order was incorrect, and we chose not to send it back as we assumed it would take a long time to receive the correct one. It also took three separate calls just to receive the room service menu. Additionally, we were charged for ice despite having an active room service food bill, which felt unreasonable. When we inquired about evening entertainment (Friday eve), the front desk assured us a live band would be performing, but this never happened. It appeared the resort seems to operate with minimal staff, which may explain the drop in service quality. On a positive note, we were warmly welcomed by a great host at check-in, and the barman at the pool bar made excellent cocktails and provided friendly service. Hopefully, this could be just a rare slip-up.

I’m absolutely thrilled with my choice of accommodation in Colombo! The location is perfect—situated in a comfortable and safe area with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It’s also very close to the city center, making it super convenient. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The rooms are excellent, well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. And the rooftop pool is simply amazing!

酒店周圍沒有什麼餐廳商店，房間很大，衞生很好，但是不提供礦泉水衹有大桶裝水在樓道里麪供客人使用。

ฉันพักที่โรงแรมนี้ได้อย่างยอดเยี่ยม พนักงานให้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นและให้บริการอย่างดีเยี่ยมตลอดการเข้าพักของฉัน ห้องพักอยู่ในสภาพดีเยี่ยม สะอาด ดูแลรักษาเป็นอย่างดี และตกแต่งอย่างมีรสนิยม จุดเด่นอย่างหนึ่งคือระเบียงซึ่งมองเห็นทิวทัศน์อันสวยงามของมหาสมุทรอินเดีย เหมาะสำหรับการพักผ่อนหรือชมพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน ที่ตั้งของโรงแรมก็เป็นอีกจุดหนึ่งที่สำคัญ เพราะสามารถเดินทางไปยังสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวหลักๆ ส่วนใหญ่ในบริเวณนี้ได้อย่างง่ายดาย ขอแนะนำอย่างยิ่งทั้งในเรื่องความสะดวกสบายและความสะดวก!

โรงแรมที่น่าพอใจที่สุดที่เราเคยพักในโคลัมโบ ประเทศศรีลังกา แม้ว่าห้องพักจะเก่าไปหน่อย แต่วิวก็เยี่ยมมาก! ร้านอาหารของโรงแรมให้บริการอาหารเช้า อาหารกลางวัน และอาหารเย็นที่หรูหราและอร่อย มีบาร์ข้างสระว่ายน้ำเหมาะแก่การชมเป็นอย่างยิ่ง คุณสามารถชม Colombo TV Tower ได้อย่างเต็มอิ่ม! จะกลับมาที่นี่อีกในครั้งหน้าที่ฉันมีโอกาส

My family and I checked in to the Cinnamon Grand of Colombo,Sri Lanka. It is a hotel centrally located near shopping and dining areas. We have always liked the food at the Cinnamon Grand and the little shopping mall, a short, covered walk from the hotel. Check-in at the Cinnamon Grand is not too complex. The elevators are not as slow as Bangkok or Las Vegas. The hotel rooms have enough room and amenities. Although my wife and I were overcome with a damp and musty smell. Given the age of the hotel and the humidity in Colombo, I can see there is not enough ventilation to air out the hotel rooms.

Staff at the reception was very friendly and nice. Even though there were a lot of people, we got our room quite fast. One of the guys helped us to bring our luggage to the room. They welcomed us with drinks and there were fruits in the room. The bathroom was clean, the bed very comfortable, we had a good rest. There is a railway station near the hotel and it’s close to the sea and some popular tourist destinations. The breakfast was amazing!!!!! So much food! Everything was very very very delicious, I ate the best Christmas stollen there! Be careful if you eat outside, the bird stole our leftovers😄 Overall, we enjoyed our stay, thank a lot!
