The room was disappointing. We booked a small double, but were given an accessible room instead. The sink was tiny and low down for wheelchair access, but uncomfortable for a 6ft 2 in male! No window so felt a bit claustrophobic. Only 1 coffee sachet between 2 of us. Seemed like the roomwas an after thought. We have stayed here many times and this was the worst room we have had.
Bar and breakfast was fine though.
Friendly staff, decent breakfast, allows us to park front of hotel for loading and unloading.
Some of the pools are closed due to out of service though.
friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself is well-maintained and clean, with modern amenities and comfortable rooms. The location is also excellent, being conveniently located near attractions and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value and an enjoyable stay in [Location].
Needed convenient stopping point from Surrey to Chestefield, one night, for a funeral. Location ideal. Despite proximity to M1 itself, road noise was not excessive. Receptionist was really welcoming; gave me a choccie bar and bottle of water. You can stroll to the services for Mcdonald's or Costa - and WH Smith etc, (if open). . The overall decor is a bit 'tired' but everything was clean, bed fresh, coffee/tea facilities. Would have preferred the radio to be fitted by the bedside not table across the room (!). Freeview TV quite adequate for one night........ Bedroom was huge (guess it would double up as a family room at times) - and possibly I could have taken my dog with me, in which case the extra space was great.
For functionality cannot fault.

Throughout the day and night, guests can enjoy light refreshments with the hotel offering vending machines.
Lovely hotel. Clean, tidy, comfortable. Staff were excellent, one & all.
Conveniently located with a short walk to the station, the shopping centre, a football ground and other such exciting places as 10 pin bowling, cinemas, axe throwing (highly recommended) and crazy golf for adults only!
As a Londoner, I don’t know what I expected of Derby but I’m very glad I made the trip. I have nothing negative to say about the Stewart Hotel, the people of Derby and the fantastic Derby as a whole.
Well worth a visit.
We stayed for one night in December and really like this hotel. Our room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was very good (I recommend booking in advance, as it was busy on a Saturday night), and breakfast in the morning, also very good. We will be happy to return some time!

ผผู้เข้าพักWe stayed for 1 night for a special occasion. On arrival we were told that the spa was closed for an event which was very disappointing as I booked this hotel because of the spa & had planned to use the pool & sauna. This should gave been communicated at the time of booking. The building and grounds were impressive but on arrival our featured superior room was freezing cold. The reception turned on the heating at our request but this should have been done hours before our arrival given that it was 8 degrees outside. We sat for an hour in the room with our coats on before asking for a portable heater due to the radiators being only lukewarm. The room never really got warm & when we came back from dinner at 9.15 the heating had been turned off again & we had to ask for it to be turned on again. The food in the restaurant was very good & the servers were lovely but unorganised. We planned to have a drink in the hotel bar but it was so cold that it was empty and not comfortable to stay. I heard kore than one staff member complain about the cold in the hotel. What could have been a very pleasant stay was spoiled by the cold. Unfortunately, we will not return.

ผผู้เข้าพักAwesome 1 night stay over, used the gym facilities in this occasion and were of an excellent standard all round. As always, cannot praise the staff enough and the beautiful room once again! 10 out of 10 ☺️
ผผู้เข้าพักStayed for two nights in this beautiful country hotel. A very warm welcome on arrival and then shown to a beautiful large room, The Kedleston. It had everything you could wish for and a very comfortable bed. I was staying to visit relatives nearby but it would make an excellent base for exploring the area. Kedleston Hall, National Trust is on the doorstep and a must to visit. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, I didn’t eat in the evenings but the menu looked really good and if breakfast was anything to go on it will be fabulous. I will definitely return to stay and also take my family to the restaurant. Thank you to all your excellent staff for a very enjoyable stay.
