The hotel is a wonderful old Victorian building, very close to all major tourist attractions, food shops, pubs and food market. During our 2N stay at the hotel we only faced two issues. 1)the lift is very compact (small) and slow and gave up on the second day of our stay. 2) The sink in the room got clogged but the staff immediately resolved the issue. The hotel staff were kind and courteous. I’d highly recommend staying at The Angel hotel.😊

很滿意的一次入住。 酒店位置很好，離火車站和巴士總站步行衹要五分鐘，走到卡迪夫城堡也在十五分鐘以內。附近有好幾個超市和餐館，非常便利。雖然攜程上點評不多，但是我入住的時候看到酒店生意很好，住店的外國遊客很多。 酒店房間很寬敞，足夠攤開兩個拉桿箱，床也很大，足夠兩個人睡。雖然酒店位置靠近街道和火車軌道，但是房間裏很安靜：走廊裏鋪了地毯避免響聲，窗户和牆壁隔音也很棒，入住兩晚，沒有聽到任何火車或者街道上的噪音。房間窗户望出去視野很好，可以看到卡迪夫灣。屋子裡有空調，製冷制熱都可以。房間沒有飲用水，但是可以到酒店一層免費接檸檬水喝。 幫我辦理入住的前台很熱情友善，主動介紹了卡迪夫城堡當天舉行的活動，並講解了過去的路線。很遺憾我忘記他的名字了，衹記得是一位年輕的白人男性，不戴眼鏡。我這次在英國好幾個城市旅行，住過的幾家酒店裡，這家酒店前台絕對是最熱情的。 美中不足的是，酒店一層每次衹有兩個員工同時在，而一層又有酒店入住，又有餐館、酒吧，還有自動售貨機和行李寄存，感覺員工們很忙很忙，無論是餐館點單、結賬或者入住、拿行李，都要等三五分鐘，他們才能過來。員工們很友好很盡責，但確實很忙，酒店如果能多安排一些員工在一層就好了。

Decent hotel, centrally located close to the train station making it a very convenient place to stay. Staff very welcoming and took into account my special request and booked me a quiet room which was appreciated. Breakfast, nothing special, just like any other hotel breakfast in the uk. Good views at the breakfast area, staff on hand to help and often going out of their way to help. Service was 10/10. Rooms themselves felt a little old and could do with a touch up but comfy enough for a short stay! Coffee machine too!

I’m a female solo traveller who had an absolutely wonderful stay. I read some reviews that complained about the noise, but to be honest if the window is closed it would only be a muffled sound. This is in the heart of the city so it was to be expected. A group was singing donation karaoke outside which was funny to listen to. Cleanliness-wise, it’s fine. There were a few stray hairs from the previous guest and a few areas were dusty, but you could tell they just focused on the main areas. So not incredibly clean but good enough. The front desk folks were very friendly and I felt secure in this hotel. You had to buzz in after it was a later hour, which was good so the drinks don’t wander in. Also I am happy that this room had air con. Would love to return here again, everything I wanted to do was within walking distance!

I had a lovely stay here. The location is fantastic with lots of things going on all around and most places are a short walk away. The staff were very accommodating and polite. There's not a lift so you do need to walk up stairs. Before arriving, I requested a room on the lowest possible floor to minimise climbing for my mother and the staff were responsive and helpful. The service from Sanjay and Ruth was excellent. The breakfast was yummy and they had vegan-friendly options too! I was worried the room would be a bit small for two people but it was lovely, the shower was great and it was actually quite spacious. I was also impressed with how secure the hotel was and Anne-Marie on the front desk was really pleasant to chat with at any time. I would definitely recommend this place and I would be very happy to stay here again!

Comfortable and Modern Stay I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The design was simple yet modern, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The room was well-maintained, featuring a spacious and comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, adding to the overall comfort. A great choice for a straightforward and enjoyable stay!

Really love this hotel and the location right in the centre! I always choose to stay here. Staff are super friendly and rooms are nice and clean. Car park under the hotel (at an extra cost of £18pn) The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel by car, as it sends you down a bus/taxi lane which can be confusing.
