A hidden gem. I don't even want to share this review to make this hotel too popular! As a person who doesn't speak very good Chinese, the staff at this hotel were very accommodating despite the language barrier. When you first arrive at the hotel, you are greeted by a creative garden complete with outdoor dining areas, swings, a fish tank, and more. On check in, the receptionist was very attentive to all of my questions and directed me to the places I asked about through wechat. It was very easy to follow the directions. I was also offered a spread of fresh fruit to enjoy before settling in my room. The room was spacious and clean and had the most advanced toilet that I have ever used! There was a wide open window for a beautiful view of the dialou across the pond. The suite of amenities was also much appreciated, including snacks, toiletries, and slippers. A highlight of this hotel is the breakfast. They not only provide the standard Chinese breakfast fare such as porridge and pastries, but also served local kaiping specialties. They also have food you can order off of a menu but I didn't have anything during my stay. Upon checkout I was also given a goodie bag filled with local specialties and treats which was much appreciated!

Breakfast was so so so crowded, and people just sat down in my seats when I went off to pick up my fried egg, totally chaotic. The door card was just weird, because tapping it in the door lock won't open the door, and that happened not just me and I saw another guest in the floor landing waiting for housekeeping to open the door. The Hotel Management must sort this out, as well as the breakfast hall staff need serious table Management. Bad experience overall.

I had a very comfortable stay at Mandarin Elegant Hotel. The hotel has all the amenities a traveller would need. It is also near to the newest mall in the city and next to a river with beautiful walking paths. The staff were attentive and personable. Special call out to 熊管家 and 赵经理 who answered all my questions and attended to my requests. The service by all hotel staff is impeccable. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Tai Shan city.

This is the fourth time my family and I stayed in this hotel. This time we felt a bit disappointed because of the drainage blockage which led to flooding in the bathroom. Although the drainage blockage was repaired next day, however we felt rather inconvenient. The pillows and bed are moderately soft. The hand towers were somewhat wet which seemed be used but not replaced by the new ones. Pricing of the hotel was gone up, nevertheless the services were deteriorating.

這次入住僑小館，公區配套真的太加分了。大堂裝修融合僑鄉復古設計，寬敞大氣、乾淨雅緻，軟裝很有格調，等候入住坐着休息十分舒服，採光很好，氛圍感直接拉滿，待客接待很有面子。大堂旁的咖啡屋格調十足，閑暇時點一杯現磨咖啡，靜靜歇腳放空，逛完古鎮回來在這裏小坐，愜意又放鬆，出品口感很不錯。最實用的當屬自助洗衣房，洗衣機、烘乾機一應俱全，空間整潔，使用方便，長途旅行積攢的衣物一站式洗凈烘乾，不用帶厚重換洗衣物，大大減輕出行負擔。 三大配套兼顧顏值與實用性，大堂體面、咖啡屋休閑、洗衣房解決出行剛需，再加上酒店整體優美環境，來赤坎古鎮遊玩入住，體驗感方方面面都很周到，雖然是很匆忙的一次旅行，但是整個體驗非常好，值得推薦。

We had a wonderful stay at the ChaoQi Hotel. After a smooth check-in, a convenient cart picked us up and brought us directly to our room door. The location is incredible, situated inside the Chikan resort where you can find numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. A great perk was that our stay included entry tickets, giving us the chance to enjoy many of the resort's lively shows. Our room was super comfortable, impeccably clean, and very family-friendly. Our kids especially loved the indoor playground on the ground floor. The buffet breakfast offered a fantastic variety of options, featuring multiple live stations with both Asian and Western choices. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to the Kaiping area.
