This hotel is probably overrated. With international standard, I'd probably rate it 3.5 stars, rather than 5 stars as it advertises. The room space is large, but in modern hotel, it is just as important that the bathroom area should be "modern" too. This is probably the least satisfied in the whole stay. The bath room is good in size but rather wet and ventilation is poor. The shower water jet is way too strong and is not easy to adjust. The shower room floor should have been using better flooring to show the cleanness. The water sound is too much and that affects the sleep if using it in the middle of the night. Maybe it was due to the need to reduce wastage that by default it doesn't supply hair conditioner. We requested 3 times and finally a small bottle was supplied and delivered to the room. Our options are It should be supplied by default together with the other 2. Missing this one gives the perception that this hotel is poor in quality (for the sake of saving a few cents ?)
The breakfast is good, with sufficient food supply, however the quality in general is average. I would expect it should be in higher quality. In busy time, it is quite chaotic, which is stressful and disappointed. It should have been better managed.
Smoking and Non-Smoking areas should be strictly separated: yes, I understand there is a need for some customers to smoke, however, it should not allow to smoke in the room. A smoking area should be established so that it can maintain the cleanness of the room and the overall quality of the experience. This is particular important (at least for us) as smoking is a health issue.
