刘刘白子_lssGreat Service, Lovely Breakfast — but Room Noise and In-Room Dining Could Improve
I recently stayed at the Thompson Houston and overall had a great experience, especially thanks to the excellent service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. Their attention to detail really made me feel welcomed, and I was touched when they surprised me with a graduation cake — a thoughtful gesture I truly appreciated.
The hotel breakfast was a highlight. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and once again, the service stood out. Dining in the morning felt like a treat thanks to the welcoming atmosphere.
That said, there were a few downsides that affected my stay. The room was quite noisy, even late into the night. It was hard to relax or fall asleep with the amount of outside noise coming through.
Also, I ordered in-room dining on two occasions. On the first day, everything was great. However, the next day the fries were noticeably soggier, the salad was just a bowl of greens with six tiny avocado cubes, and — most concerning — the aioli on the side looked like it had already been used.
Overall, Thompson Houston left a positive impression on me, mostly due to its exceptional staff and quality breakfast. I hope they can improve the soundproofing and ensure consistency in their in-room dining service.
MMary McGeheeI don’t know why this hotel has so many bad reviews. I just stayed here with my toddler and it was perfect for us. It was very clean. The rooms were a great size and the location was perfect. The room was decorated so cute. We loved it. The only negative thing I will say was that the elevator was very slow and only one of them weren’t. But other than that, I would definitely stay at Rusk house again
LLayers of HerOverall me stay was great. It was right downtown which was close/ walking distance to a lot of places. They also had several restaurants. I went to the one on the second floor forgot the name but the bartender at night was top tier. I would definitely eat their again.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe overall stay was ok. However the bar being closed over the Weekend was very poor. Pool closed because of seasonal issue. There were hardly any staff members around for any assistance. WiFi was there but not explained anywhere.
I now understand why President Trimp wants to change the water pressure for showers. That should be called a rain mist washing facility, not really a shower.
Once in a while the elevator did not work.
The price was ok. It was generally very quiet.
I would come again. Just would nor expect anything extraordinary.
CCarey LoyHilton Houston Westchase: Comfortable Stay with Convenient Dining
The Hilton Houston Westchase provides a comfortable stay, particularly appreciated for its well-maintained and cozy rooms. While the hotel may have a more established feel, the comfort factor is definitely a highlight.
One of the perks of staying at this Hilton is its proximity to a variety of dining options. The hotel itself features the Rio Ranch restaurant, serving down-home dishes and wood-grilled steaks. They also have an atrium lounge for drinks and light bites, and offer all-day room service. A major plus for Japanese food lovers is the nearby Benihana located at 9707 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77042. It's easily accessible and offers a fun, teppanyaki dining experience.
Overall, the Hilton Houston Westchase offers a solid and comfortable experience, especially if you're looking for a convenient location with easy access to a great Japanese restaurant like Benihana.
